Near Dark is of course the best vampire film of the #80s with The Lost Boys a close second. But “Vamp” has to be the most overlooked. It’s like a vampire version of Scorsese’s After Hours, with a great soundtrack and Grace Jones is wonderful in it without saying a single word.

@bleedingcool Ellison claims to be a fan of Star Trek... the only problem is that moving forward his vision of Star Trek might have a right wing slant... Diversity and working together was the heart of Roddenberry... not sure we will ever see his vision again under Ellison
