As awesome as locos like 25s and 37s are weve all ridden behind them and tbh ater seeing em at multiple galas it feels a lil samey, but just how many of us have got behind a 59 and 67.
Keeps it much more unique in my opinion.

Honestly you got the best of both worlds.
Youve got your heritage visitors as well as more modern yet arguably more impreasive vistors.
Theres something for both crowds yet people will still wibble for the sake of it.
If anything modern visitors are more i terestimg because...

The moaning starts! I've seen numerous posts moaning about the choice of visitors for the upcoming Severn Valley Railway diesel gala. No doubt this will be followed by complaints about gentle driving methods. Arranging galas is a huge effort and one has to consider diesel prices.

In typical fashion as I got this Nu-Cast kitbuilt Sentinel last year, will definitely consider it though as while this does run I can’t really run it very often due to the fact it is on a Tenshodo and that gets very warm after a few minutes due to the weight.
