Guessand wasn’t great but he was nowhere near as bad as Bailey has been, a bit more of a physical presence too and also tracked back.
Not sure why the club thought recalling Bailey back was a good idea when he was deemed not good enough at the start of the season #AVFC
@J_Tanswell Asking a league 1 player to take on premier league responsibility, same with Buendia, basically playing with 10 men, either from the start or when making substitutions.
Asked Emery about #AVFC the second goal. Says his frustration with Bailey was because United had players back, so he wanted him to make more safe passes, keep the ball and not force an attack at the risk of being broken on, basically waiting for team-mates for control
Buendia has been criticised a lot for giving the ball away over the last 5 or 6 weeks. About time Rogers got some constructive criticism too. United goal came from him giving the ball away under no pressure, a frequent occurrence of late.
Young lad who's played a lot of games in 2 seasons but he gives the ball away far too much, and often under little pressure.
Not sure when Emiliano Buendia decided he was going to become this all-aggressive, go-through-anyone midfielder, but it is slightly at odds with how nice a man he is. Not very good at it, either. #AVFC
🚨🔵| BREAKING: Jadon Sancho has informed his agent to contact Chelsea about a possible return as a free agent to #CFC when his contract with Manchester United expires on June 30, 2026.
Jadon Sancho had previously insisted on his €300k per week salary when Chelsea tried to make his loan permanent, refusing to take a pay cut to €180k-€200k per week. However, he's now willing to return and accept the same offer Chelsea made him back then.
Jadon Sancho believes he can fit into the Chelsea squad and develop more than with any other Premier League team. 🤔
@AVFCOfficial Trying to qualify for the champions league with 2 bang average championship players that keep getting picked every week. And then a substitute who shouldn’t be anywhere near a premier league squad.
We can’t all be wrong. 🤷♂️
@johntownley11 Villa miles off it today. Depleted yes, but nowhere near enough duals won all over the pitch, in what was a massive game.
The fact that we’ve let a striker go out the door before bringing one in tells you all you need to know. No side chasing the premier league title does that….
Strange leaving Villa Park after a defeat - only Villa's second PL loss here in 16 months - but it was a poor one against an equally depleted Everton. Frustrating that mistakes, after Garner should've seen red, cost Villa. Additions are being chased and needed quickly.

@CFCDaily What new manager isn’t going to say that’?
I’ve never heard anyone take a job and say ‘we’re gonna sit in, conserve energy, and try not to concede…
It’s just waffle to get fans on side early doors, fair play to him, he’ll need their support….
🚨Rosenior: “I want us to play high-tempo, aggressive, front-foot football… I want the fans at home to be off their seat in the first ten minutes and feel like it's wave after wave.” [📷chelseafc]
And finally to the fans, those that come to the games, both Home and Away, thanks for your unwavering support, you know who you are, and I thank you immensely for the support you have given us both in good and bad times.
All good things must come to an end unfortunately, sometimes things just do not work out as planned 2nd time round.

12 months ago to help the club avoid relegation to step 5 was a decision we could not turn down.
