📍🇨🇺 This morning, we worked with farmers alongside young university students. Planting seedlings, learning about the innovative ways farmers fertilize soil, weeding plant beds, and more. Afterwards, we directly exchanged with the Cuban students on the determination they have to defend their rights and future. What’s clear from farmers to students is that long-term economic sanctions and Trump’s recent fuel blockade strain the ability for Cubans to produce their own food with dignity and effectively engage with their education. What else is the U.S. policy against Cuba if not starvation, strangulation, and genocide?
