So as some people know I am in the DSA, and have been for a while. I am still an ML, and the DSA is not an ML party. So I want to explain my rationale for why I am in it. If you disagree then feel free to share. I would love some sort of conversation on strategy for US socialists

I've often wondered if there's a big difference in people's outlooks and motivations, between working in factories where they make semi-disposable junk like plastic toys, versus basic household goods like chairs and stoves, versus industrial precursors like Large Graphite Block.

If you get deep enough into TikTok your feed becomes mostly Chinese commodity wholesalers

@IncipitTragoed2 Not really in its current form. Does seem to be going in that direction, or if it doesn’t it would likely piss off enough people to split it.

Like a solid 80% of the queer people I know are huge nature people and I just am not one especially at all. I feel like my ideal existence is the stereotypical ideal of a city of grey Soviet Brezhnevkas

Its kinda undeniable that Marx was like ultra darkwoke for the standards of 19th century europe even if he seems less so today

Anyone know some good channels like this for Chinese? I find some occasionally but need more!

Everyone involved in this is a hero. It’s nice to be reminded there’s still some good people in the world.

Okay end of thoughts, sorry this was so rambling haha. I want to think this through and format this better at some point, I just wanted to get what was in my head into words of some form as I think on the topic more.

A genuine workers party. In a less ideal but still definitely workable situation there could be some sort of split in the party, between the social democrats and the more radical wing. Either of those situations would put the socialist left in the U.S. in a very good position.
