When I spoke to the Prez I also gave him accurate statistics for the Province's HSDG (housing) expenditure. For several years now we spent 100% of budget. Here is the chart I WhatsApp'd the President. It is WRONG to say people haven't got houses because we don't spend the funds!

@helenzille I have been waiting for over 15 years but young people from EC who came few years back own houses now bcoz they saw that provincial government will always prioritise shack dwellers. All this is a ploy from EC people and us who were born in WC are left staying in the backyard

@helenzille DA gvt must consider backyard dwellers who been behaving up thus far. We dont just build coz we understand that gvt money does not fall from the sky but people from EC build shacks then your provincial gvt prioritises them to score political point. EC people will never vote DA

@helenzille No maam most houses went to people from Eastern Cape. In December those houses are empty, the occupants went back to Eastern Cape. These people manipulate gvt by building in bad spaces so to get gvt sympathy they skip the skipnthe quee. Cllr Anthony Moses must is shit. @Our_DA

On Coloured Marginality: Yes, Coloured South Africans are marginalised. We form part of a very large group of marginalised people and also make up a large chunk of poor people living in uninhabitable conditions. We share the this marginality with other Black South Africans.

@BigDebateSA @SABC_2 Theres land lying fallow in the Eastern Cape, KZN, Limpompo and Cape Karoo. Those places should be developed to create jobs so that people don't have to move to big cities for them to get jobs coz thats causing influx in urban areas. Create jobs in the rural areas & u will see.

@BigDebateSA @SABC_2 I don't want the state to own the land they must give us title deeds instead. Of it belongs to the state that failed to run SOE's them this is disaster waiting to happen. Only the connected will get the land and the rest of us will remain in shacks. Must develop rural areas.
