Since losing my dog Arjuna last week it has been a bit rough going on my walks. I would take Arjuna for an hour long up the mountain walk every day ( well mostly everyday) and now I just feel like I cannot even look at that path without crying. But like my vet said “ Arjuna came into your life when you needed him and now he sees you are complete so he must go to help another in need” and that was when I realized Arjuna would not want me to be sad and not do our walk he wants me to now take baby girl in his place. Today was my first day taking her on the walk and she loved it so much. She didn’t cry once but laughed. So many people smiled and waved at us. It is still hard to see the path without Arjuna but I kept saying hi to him and feeling his love the whole way. Honestly it was super sad but also very healing on some level. Hard part of it all is baby girl will probably never remember him and his magic. But I have photos of him laying next to her like a guard making sure she is ok. Hope you are having a great day❤️Buck
