My wife does elf on the shelf for our kids. Last night she made a laser maze out of painter's tape. I went downstairs to smoke a joint. It was already late and we had some "adult time" on the line. I am 6'0 tall and 230 lbs. I have no grace. I am built and move like a bull elephant. Usually I would get impatient and just walk through the tape, but if I ripped any of it she would have to do it again and the night would be over. I had to crawl through the maze as the weed hit all at once. This is my worst nightmare. Merry Christmas.

Just came out of Lidl and saw a woman crying her eyes out. She was explaining to people that she’d lost all of her Xmas spending money and didn’t know how she would be able to afford everything! I felt really sorry for her and gave her £50. I don’t normally do this sort of thing but I had just found £2000 in the car park! It doesn’t hurt to be kind at this time of year!

when i was a kid i wanted this so bad and my mom got it for me for my birthday. later that day i overheard her telling my aunt that it was a pricey doll but i really wanted it. i felt terrible and told my mom i didn’t like it and asked her to return it. this has haunted me my whole life. i hate getting gifts because i feel guilty when people spend money on me. i told my husband about this and he brought it up to my mom and she has no memory of this. doll wasn’t expensive. my brother said wait i think i saw that in the basement. it was in the basement. she never returned it. i have been haunted by this doll that i thought was going to put my family in the poor house for 30 years and she never even returned it. anyway i’m in therapy now.

I’ve already accepted that this is how I will die. Won’t reach old age because a mum taking her son 5 minutes to swimming lessons needs a 4x4 Land Rover with the Ford Field lighting system strapped to the front of it for some reason.
