"Every time you level up in your career, you enter a ‘new room.’ You're suddenly surrounded by people who seem more experienced, more polished, more certain. Your brain then makes a critical mistake: it compares your inside with everyone else's outside." That's from @nireyal's great new book, "Beyond Belief: The Science-Backed Way to Stop Limiting Yourself and Achieve Breakthrough Results." As Eyal writes, "You have intimate access to your own inner experience: every doubt, every moment of uncertainty, every time you didn't know the answer. But when you look at others, you only see their carefully curated exterior: the confidence they project, the polish of their presentations, the certainty in their voices." I like to call this voice the obnoxious roommate living in my head. And Eyal has great tips to help silence it! Click here for more on @Thrive Global: community.thriveglobal.com/youre-not-an-i…

We celebrate women in leadership. But we don’t talk enough about the tangible benefits that stem from diverse leadership. 🔵 Stronger engagement - Companies with engaged teams see 21% higher profitability. 🔵 Higher retention - When employees feel valued and represented, they stay longer. 🔵 Greater innovation - Diverse organizations are 1.7x more likely to be innovation leaders in their market. 🔵 Better business outcomes, driven by broader perspectives and stronger decision-making. That’s not symbolic. That’s measurable. This Women’s History Month, Keather Snyder shares five ways leaders can build a more inclusive workplace, and how it directly impacts performance. hubs.li/Q045lKRj0 #Omnia #OmniaGroup #WomenInLeadership #WomensHistoryMonth #DiverseLeadership

When we’re caught in the chaos the moment—whether at work or in life—it’s easy to believe the stress will never end. Deadlines stack up. Goals feel distant. Emotions run high. But this moment isn’t the whole story. Taking the long view helps us reconnect with perspective.

Your brain is the ultimate weapon. If you want to perform at your best, you must regularly sharpen the saw. These aren't just “tips” for thinking. They are the foundation for how to think more effectively, avoid bias, and make stronger decisions. Here's why it's so important to sharpen your analytical thinking: 1) It combines mindset and logic. Sharpening analytical thinking isn’t only intellectual. It’s about building resilience against ego and bias, which often cloud judgment more than a lack of information does. 2) It emphasizes subtraction as much as addition. Inversion, opportunity cost, and Occam’s Razor all hinge on removing distractions, false leads, or less valuable alternatives. Sharper thinking often comes not from adding complexity, but from pruning away what doesn’t serve clarity. 3) It combats bias. Our brains are wired to save energy by relying on assumptions, habits, and emotional impulses. Concepts like second-order thinking, probabilistic thinking, and steel manning challenge those shortcuts. They force us to look deeper, weigh possibilities, and consider opposing views, which are essential skills in a world full of complexity and misinformation. 4) It links thinking to action. Concepts like the 80/20 rule, opportunity cost, and compound growth remind us that thinking can drive real-world outcomes. They help us focus on what truly matters, avoid wasted effort, and turn small, consistent improvements into massive results over time. ♻️ Like, follow, and repost if this resonates. Very often, the people who suffer #burnout are the high-performers -- people who appear to be excelling. The treat stress and overwork as a badge of honor; their egos tell them they can and should keep going instead of taking breaks and looking after their #wellbeing. #HR #Leadership #MentalHealth

Never underestimate how powerful it is to know your manager believes in you even when results aren’t there to support it. This has a huge impact on us humans -- especially in moments when leaders need someone's best performance. #LeadFromTheHeart #HR #CHRO #Management #Leadership
