Tied after 2 has been a weird situation for VGK this season.
They were 10-4-4 overall but 3-4-2 at home while 7-0-2 on the road.
The only one in the playoffs was Game 2 vs UTA, a loss. @WilliamHillUS
After a long review, the refs land on a major penalty on Brayden McNabb. Plus an automatic game misconduct has VGK down to 5 defensemen for the rest of this game.
McNabb came a long way to deliver that hit. In slow motion, it definitely looks like the puck is gone. Looked like a clean shoulder-to-shoulder hit, but if they rule it late, it's 5 and a game because of the injury to Poehling.
Tough break for VGK as that absolutely did not *have* to be a major penalty.
@Realrclark25 I disagree with a lot of what you say. But I gotta hand it to you RC, this is a great post and message. I didn't have a "problem" either. But decided to give up alcohol completely in November 2018. Haven't missed it one iota since.
I don’t talk much about my sobriety, because it wasn’t supposed to be a thing. I mean, I didn’t think I had an addiction. Then it hit me. It doesn’t have to be an addiction to be a problem.
I haven’t drank since Sept 9, 2022, but I made no announcements the day I stopped drinking. Maybe, that was to escape accountability. I’ve thought of taking a sip since, but it always comes back to, “what good has it ever done?”. So, here we are 3 years, 8 months later, & life is better. I am better!

@TDChrisG Ive been saying for well over a month how bad Hanifin is in his own end and Andersson is not much better. Andersson is bringing enough offense to help offset the defensive liability, Hanifin is not.
@SinBinVegas Yes. This amazing PK streak ending was probably a good thing. Almost felt invincible and maybe thats led to some careless penalties being taken. Can't continue.
Spending my birthday in CDMX eating conchas and thinking how strange life is sometimes. I never would’ve imagined this version of my life and now I feel grateful to be living it. 39 feels pretty good. Cheers to life.

Never the lead actor but his presence was always felt in a movie
@GoBlue069@SinBinVegas Lets try this a different way: If he looked bad, and the others looked bad, why would you remove him for players that aren't any better?
@Knight71Rider@SinBinVegas No I didn't. Everyone looked bad, but this is Karlys second game back since November. He's rusty and not up to speed. I don't think he should be on PP1 or the top 2 lines until he gets in his groove. And trust me, I want Wild Bill to get to that point, but he's not there yet.
Color me concerned. Anaheim has come into Vegas and accomplished the mission of the road team, taking home-ice advantage. VGK have not looked like the big, bruising, experienced team that defeated the Mammoth.
Real Talk: If VGK's PK wasn't on the best run in the history of the franchise, their season would be basically over after 5 periods in this series.
Instead, they are 1 goal away from being in prime position to have a 2-0 series lead.
It's astounding.
@GoBlue069@SinBinVegas then you kind of defeated your own argument there. If you said Karly wasnt good but others WERE good, it would make sense to remove him. IMO he looked better than Dorofeyev, Hertl, and Stone until the useless goal at the end
@SinBinVegas Boys didn't show up tonight. They had their moments where they turned it on and looked good, but it was extremely short lived.
I also don't think Wild Bill was ready to be back on PP1 or the top two lines. Should've kept him on the third line and that's it
Carter Hart makes yet another save off his mask.
It's crazy how many times that has happened in less than 5 periods. At least 5 or 6 times by my count.
Kolesar was doing such a great job as a one-man forecheck, just got a little overassertive and ends up taking a penalty a long way away from the VGK net.
@JesseGranger_ I thought the last game was more even than the stats would show, after period 1. Tonight, get behind the 8 ball early w all the penalties, no flow, no real energy. Two PP chances of our own, barely any shots/chances.
The Anaheim Ducks have looked like the better team, by a pretty good margin, for four straight periods.
But it hasn't mattered because Carter Hart has been even better.
