@NoelG_71 Considering this was one of the 'easier' games and Robson did ultimately shit the bed, Bowns has to get it when it matters. He's proven himself more than enough. To be fair to Steele he played a very good game considering his age, as did a few of the other young lads.

@LeeMax54 Will be interesting to see who gets the Hungary game. The breakout put them on the back foot, too many rough zone exits, could barely get over the blueline at times. And I think Austria were clever with their pressure too (really felt like they targeted Steele a good bit).

Team GB have to be disappointed with that performance, against essentially an ICEHL all-star team without their bigger players. Didn't seem ready, breakout largely struggled to exit the zone, lot to work on. Have to beat Hungary and hope Austria do the same.

Looks like VGK may be without McNabb for at least one more game. Honestly very surprised by this. Do not see how this is a suspendable hit at all. Penalty, sure. Suspension, no way.

Now the refs (linesman?) stop the game for an injury on a high stick by Terry on Coghlan. They go and discuss it, and it get wrong. Clearly should have been a VGK PP, instead we play on at 5-on-5. VGK not getting the breaks at all from the officiating tonight.

After a long review, the refs land on a major penalty on Brayden McNabb. Plus an automatic game misconduct has VGK down to 5 defensemen for the rest of this game. McNabb came a long way to deliver that hit. In slow motion, it definitely looks like the puck is gone. Looked like a clean shoulder-to-shoulder hit, but if they rule it late, it's 5 and a game because of the injury to Poehling. Tough break for VGK as that absolutely did not *have* to be a major penalty.
