@kelseybogan I search relaxing backgrounds on YouTube and play them (muted) on my ViewSonic board every day in my middle school library. It sets a wonderfully calm mood for us - usually a deck or porch overlooking water with snow falling or sun rising - depends on my mood/season.

@JoKnowles I just put See You at Harry’s in a student’s hands this week. I still recommend it frequently. Censors be damned. It is a fantastic book.

Thanks for saying this. I've been slowly disappearing. Almost no school visit req's. Abysmal book sales. It's not a badge of honor. It's a gag, silencing you into oblivion. I prob shouldn't tweet this, b/c then I'm outing myself further as a "controversial" author to be avoided.

Have I mentioned my love for full page labels recently? They are an essential book repair item for elementary libraries. Easy-peasy to completely cover coloring on blank endpapers. #PWCSLibraries #schoollibrarians

@choldenko Not usually. As an English teacher I read books I was teaching over and over, but as a librarian, it’s more important to me to read as many titles as I can so I can recommend them to my students.
