@realBOTwriter Even if flawed. Certainly wouldn’t mind more things like Andor or even for Ahsoka, etc to be tighter/more well produced, I just wish a mediocre ending wouldn’t sour so many on the series as a whole. I think S2 will make many forget about it.

@realBOTwriter The Anakin episode is probably my favorite live action thing Disney has done. Andor deserves the respect it gets, from a critical standpoint it is everything people say, but from a ‘STAR WARS’ perspective, things like what we saw in Ahsoka is what really gets to the kid in me.

Ahsoka S1 did not end well. Almost felt like they ran out of time and money which is wild. However, before that it captured so much of what makes Star Wars great, and I feel like so many forget that.

@ytahen It’s not exclusive to Ahsoka, but I’ve seen many criticize the entire show even though it had some great highlights.

@ytahen We’ll never know what the reason was. I don’t think the general ideas were bad at all, it was the execution. The production value was noticeably lower and the script wasn’t nearly as tight. Nonetheless, you may remember, but I’ve seen countless slam a show/film for a bad ending.

Ik this is a hot take but a redeemed living Vader could've worked, but only if: 1. He's kept in a prison temple where he meditates all day and gives force advice to jedi 2. He's only occasionally let out to deal with some large threat 3. The galaxy is aware he killed palpatine

Other projects may be tighter. I want STAR WARS from my Star Wars. Between new characters and old, the score, great performances, action sequences and interesting new lore— it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Not everything has to be Empire.

@robby_weidemann It’s not enough to call it a masterpiece, but I’d say it’s enough to put it beyond mediocre. I think one change of Ewoks to Wookiees would’ve elevated the entire film in a multitude of ways.

vader vs luke and a space battle with incredible special effects that still hold up to this day are not enough to prop up return of the jedi to the “masterpiece” you all claim it to be it is a mediocre film at best

@bob36544977 That’s certainly true. But, 7 seasons vs 2, and George was pushing the boundaries of what was possible with animation at the time out of his own pocket. Still, Andor deserves credit even though I prefer things ‘more like SW’, even if they’re a bit flawed.

@Knuckle_HeadTV I’m guessing you’re entirely excluding the old expanded universe? Because I cannot think of anything Filoni has done that is anywhere near as “new territory” as stuff like the original Tales of the Jedi with its ancient aesthetic or New Jedi Order with the Yuuzhan Vong

@BigVhagarFan These characters also have to have stories and personalities. If Zeb and Sabine don’t count, Ezra and Kana shouldn’t since they’re human Jedi and Hera shouldn’t because she’s a twi’lek. Sorry Rebels wasn’t your thing, but I loved it. Probably my favorite thing not made by Lucas.
