I don’t care if people are sick of me posting this. This is our Senate Majority Leader saying girls as young as EIGHT can consent to sex. These creeps make our laws. Unfortunately, Seattle is so stuck voting blue no matter who, kids will continue to be brutally abused.

Let me get this straight. There's SNAP fraud, EBT fraud, Medicaid and Medicare fraud, home healthcare fraud, daycare fraud, medical transportation fraud, and hospice fraud, but definitely, absolutely no election fraud?

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out. Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol

True. Many loopholes exist. It is per household though, so if both you and your partner run successful businesses, then they can't be too successful. Your family can't reap too much of a reward. There is some pretty open endedness to what was passed, suggesting another side of it to be revealed down the road. It was also passed as an emergency measure to bi-pass the overwhelming voice of opposition, which feels shady, to say the least. It is becoming a bit ludicrous when people want to tax owned property (you bought it and paid taxes already) people want to tax inheritance (money someone already paid taxes on), more on gas, potentially per mile, 9.9% for being an athlete in this state. (players are LOSING money playing here). It doesn't pay to be successful. I have worked with and spoken many of the homeless in Seattle. They aren't seeing the money either. I appreciate the respectful back and forth. Wasn't here to change your mind, just wanted to hear your take, which I understand. I have owned a business and know that side and currently work off a month-to-month paycheck that just covers bills. Seen both sides but don't have an answer. I do know I have zero confidence in those currently calling the shots however. They are making the same mistakes without fixing anything that's broken and still rewarding themselves. I don't think our governor should be preaching about sacrifices and the needy while he is about to receive his second raise come July. I miss the old Seattle. I guess we'll see.

@Knummknutz @choeshow I don’t care what you do. If you cut jobs but still make over 1 million dollar salary then you should pay your fair share. Don’t want to pay taxes? Take a 990,000$ salary then. Then you don’t pay the tax. There are too many tax loopholes people use to get out of paying

I understand this point, however I also question that it is every intention of every successful person that the income they allow themselves in the success of their business is unjustified and is the communal property to be managed by what is increasing evident to be either fraudulent or inept overseers. The horrific state of this state's deficit does not suggest the people collecting are qualified in appropriately allocating. If I climb the mountain to collect the water, shouldn't I be the one to decide which thirsty mouths to deliver it to? I guess I am looking at a two part problem of 1) Are we no longer incentivizing work & reward and 2) just as there are selfish money makers, there are also fraudulent collectors/allocators so it becomes hard to draw an acceptable firm line of who is entitled to what for what.

@Knummknutz @choeshow The tax is onsalary. It’s not on business profits. So the tax only applies to businesses that are pulling inmassive amounts of profits. Many large corps arepulling out and sending workers overseas to cutcosts and only pay executives big bonuses. This does not help the state at all

But, (genuine, non-antagonistic response), the smaller businesses are still struggling to meet the other strains on their bottom line by having to adhere to higher minimum wage, increased taxes and fees on fuel, property, and a slew of other costs of doing business here. Typically the hope of a business of any size is growth to match reasonable rises in costs and a consistent rise in profits. Should a business be penalized for growing to a point, through all the above forces working against that, if it reaches a certain level of success? It isn't necessarily an assumption that the bottom line of $1 million is going into the pocket of some miserly CEO. If a company has hit that level, we should be grateful to have a large company that employs that many more people and contributes that much more flow of cash and commerce into the state, not punish it to the point of making it all go away punishing much more than the person who was succeeding at what used to be the American dream.

The American Dream was a beacon that drew people to this country, my ancestors included. The idea was that, in our country, if you worked hard you could amass enough wealth to buy a home, raise a family, and even run your own business. That success then would allow for you to create more employment to help others on their path to success. Now, blue states are PUNISHING that mindset, suggesting that your hard work merely exists to fund those who don't put in the same effort, who don't play by the same rules, who don't contribute to the same pool with the end result being what? An equality of life under a specific income level deemed "selfish"? How is it not selfish to assume you have a right to the property I bought, the income I earned, the time and care I invested for your own gain without any of your own equity invested? This passing of laws without majority consent, this passing of wealth indiscriminately, the undercurrent of fraud throughout a state government betraying it's people by hiding behind false virtues disguising personal gain is revolting, detrimental, and frankly evil.

NEW: More proof the failing Seattle Times is an alt-left rag that's totally compromised. It's the mouthpiece for Democrats and newspaper executives will sell their journalistic integrity to the highest bidder. My former KOMO-TV colleague Eric Johnson is bringing receipts as he talks about the fallout from the "Seattle is Dying" documentary. Remember the name Pyramid Communications. @seattletimes 🧵👇

Yesterday the Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney for the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office had a meeting with me that she just put on my calendar like she is my boss. She never emailed me or my assistant to ask for a meeting. It was very disrespectful since she isn't even in the top three chain of command. But, I met with her none the less. I was curious why she wanted to speak with me. She brought two other attorneys with her. I believe that she was trying to intimidate me. She wanted to let me know that I no longer am allowed to have an attorney with me when I have a Loudermill hearing. This is a hearing with an accused employee before punishment is imposed. It's part of due process. I explained to her my experience working at a large agency. The Chief of Police ALWAYS had an attorney (legal advisor) present when she/he imposed discipline. The legal advisor (attorney) would make sure that the Chief did not violate the US Constitution, the Washington State Constitution, labor laws, union contracts, and policies and procedures. My argument fell on deaf ears. She looked at me with contempt. The look was, "how dare he question me." She was trying to hide it, but I have been a cop for a long time. I know non-verbal communication and pre-attack indicators. This is the latest example of why I need to have my own legal advisor. This person is either incompetent or trying to sabotage me or both.
