BREAKING: The Telegraph reports that Keir Starmer is traveling to Washington to present Trump with a plan of deploying around 30 000 European peacekeeping to Ukraine after a peace deal. He will urge Trump to have US jets and missiles on standby in Eastern Europe to respond with if Russia breaks the terms of the deal. European forces will be deployed to Ukrainian cities, ports and critical infrastructure sites such as nuclear power stations, but won’t be put in a demilitarized zone separating Ukrainian and Russian forces. The cities of Poltava, Kryvyi Rih, and Dnipro will likely serve as the main bases for the European troops. Zelensky has previously said that at least 120 000 to 150 000 soldiers would be needed for the plan to be viable. He would also likely want to have them deployed in a demilitarized zone separating Ukrainians and Russians.
