@Ironball_T @anneapplebaum Whining and crying why noone wants to bomb Iran with you. Anyway, you think any serious nation will trust US after it?

Trump has insulted and tariffed his European allies, persuaded Denmark to prepare for a US invasion and, by pressuring Ukraine and not Russia, encouraged Putin to keep fighting. All of which he has forgotten. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

@CheburekiMan @AriFleischer Haven’t you heard that Iran is bombing Turkey? Or that Iran attacked a British base in Cyprus? Turkey and the UK are NATO members, if you didn’t know, geopolitics expert.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

@Ironball_T @anneapplebaum Trump made the countries hate US by himself. What did you expect when all he did was ridicule, undermine and threaten Nato countries. Plus treating Putin like his best friend. Now, he's trying to throw everyone under the bus in Iran. No wonder noone likes the US.

@anneapplebaum What Trump has done was to pull back the curtain and reveal the reality of EU, the true nature of NATO, and the deep resentment if not hatred of the US by certain countries. There is not turning back. There will be a realignment. Putin's warnings of EU may have been right.

🚨 NOBODY KNOWS HOW FUCKED NATO ACTUALLY IS RIGHT NOW. In the last 72 hours, watch who walked away: 🇫🇷 France: Blocked US military overflight for weapons to Israel — FIRST TIME since war began Feb 28. Israel cut ALL defense procurement from France. 🇮🇹 Italy: Denied Sigonella air base landing to US bombers. Defense Minister said relations are "solid and loyal." DAYS after blocking US planes. 🇪🇸 Spain: Closed ENTIRE airspace to US operations. Blocked Naval Station Rota AND Morón Air Base. PM Sánchez called it "not NATO collective defense." 🇵🇱 Poland: Refused to redeploy Patriot batteries. US burned through 1,200+ interceptors in 16 days. Poland said no. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Denied 2 US reconnaissance flights. Suspended $120,000,000 in weapons exports under "neutrality laws." 🇬🇧 UK: PM said "this is not our war." Trump told them to "build up some delayed courage." 🇩🇪 Germany: President Steinmeier called war "possibly illegal." WHILE hosting Ramstein — largest US base outside America. That is: France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, UK, and Germany. All in ONE week. When this many allies abandon you at once, it's not a disagreement. It's a collapse.

Trump is losing allies faster than any president in American history. There is a reason every serious president before him spent enormous energy keeping allies close. Roosevelt built coalitions before the first shot was fired. Truman created NATO so America would never stand alone again. Eisenhower understood that winning the Cold War required forty years of shared risk across dozens of nations. Bush called allies before invading. Obama rebuilt relationships after Bush strained them. None of this was sentimentality. It was strategy. The single most important skill a president can have is making others willing to take risks alongside you. When allies believe the partnership is worth the cost, America is never alone. Other nations absorb risk. Other armies show up. Other economies share the burden. American soldiers come home. No serious president has ever aimed for the opposite. Because the opposite has a name. It is called being alone in a dangerous world with enemies on every front and no one to call. When that trust collapses, America pays full price. Alone. A president who cannot keep allies close does not just embarrass his country. He exposes every American to dangers that decades of alliance-building was specifically designed to prevent and protect. Iran knows this. That letter to the American people was not diplomacy. It was a scalpel aimed at the gap Trump has opened between America and the world. And right now, it is finding its mark. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

@Julian701776140 @RealAirPower1 Russia has the capability to make great planes, like the Su-35s, very good plane, but they cant produce them in large numbers. However calling Su-57 a 5th gen is a stretch, it's more like 4++ gen.

While the world watches to see if Saudi Arabia will accept Trump's offer for the F-35, Algeria has quietly secured a massive strategic "first." With a $2B contract for 14 Russian Su-57E "Felons," they have officially become the first nation in Africa and the Arab world to acquire and operate a 5th-generation fighter. The "Stealth Gap" in the region is officially closed. 1/2

@johnpavlovitz Speak for yourself. Why would we be with NATO? They're giving money to Ukraine to fight Russia while buying Russian gas. You guys are so retarded that you are funding a war both ways. But you really don't care because it's not your people dying if someone else's. Typical NATO
