People making jokes about Spirit airlines and saying Frontier should be next are ignorant. When there is no longer affordable options to fly then what? Not to mention the thousands of people losing their jobs in a terrible economy! This is not funny.

Drebae@Drebae_

Spirit Airlines Shutdown FAQ — The Questions Everyone's Asking Right Now Answered: With reports that Spirit Airlines could cease operations around 3:00 a.m. ET, here's what actually happens when an airline shuts down: If you have a Spirit ticket — what now? Don't panic. If your flight is canceled, credit card purchases are usually the easiest to recover through refunds or chargeback protections. Debit card bookings are harder, and loyalty-point redemptions may have little to no recovery value depending on how proceedings unfold. What if a Spirit jet is already in the air when operations stop? Flights already airborne will normally continue to their destinations. Airline shutdown isn't instant; the operation winds down, aircraft land safely, passengers complete their journeys, and only flights scheduled after the cutoff get canceled. What happens to the crews? If managed properly, crews are either repositioned on company ferry flights or travel home through jumpseat reciprocity agreements with other airlines before credentials are surrendered. What happens to all those Airbus jets? Spirit's Airbus A320neo family aircraft won't be abandoned. Most are leased, meaning they go back to lessors, get new registrations, and eventually reappear in another airline's colors. Aircraft tied to financing structures will be marketed and sold. Did the Pratt & Whitney engine crisis hurt Spirit? Absolutely. The Pratt & Whitney GTF inspections on A320neo fleets grounded aircraft across the industry, but for a low-margin carrier like Spirit, losing capacity was one of several major dominoes. What about Spirit's airport slots, gates, terminals, and even its new Dania Pointe campus? Slots, gate leases, terminal space, and real estate are valuable assets and will be sold, reassigned, leased, or absorbed by competitors almost immediately. In conclusion, No airline's collapse is worth celebrating. Spirit's presence forced fares down for years—even at American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. Travelers indeed benefited from the competition when paying airfares.

South Africans are the biggest losers on the planet!!!! They are too cowardly to go after the Dutch, the British, and Boers who directly colonised them and still own the vast majority of their wealth, but they feel brave to beat up poor Ghanaians in shops

She was supposed to attend a Daniel Craig film premiere in London that weekend. Instead, she was in a Belfast hospital with 39 separate injuries. She was 29 years old. Winnie M Li was a Harvard graduate and a George Mitchell Scholar who had co-produced a short film shortlisted for an Oscar. She flew to Belfast for a conference. The day before she was supposed to fly home, she decided to squeeze in a solo hike through a forest park on the western edge of the city. A 15-year-old boy followed her in and raped her in broad daylight. She later said she went from being a confident woman to a ghost, with PTSD and depression so severe she had to give up her film career. Her attacker was sentenced to 8 years. He was out in 4. Hiking had been one of her great joys before the attack. It took years before she could do it alone again. In 2009, she forced herself to backpack through Southeast Asia for three months, trying to find the person she used to be. Five and a half years after the assault, she sat down and started writing about what happened to her. Her novel Dark Chapter, built from her own experience, won a major literary prize. Her second novel was fought over by five US publishers and picked by The New York Times for their book club. She co-founded a festival in London dedicated to conversations about sexual violence, and earned a PhD from the London School of Economics studying how survivors use their voices to reclaim their stories. And every year, on the exact anniversary of the worst day of her life, she goes on a solo hike. In her own words: to remind herself that beauty still exists, and she can enjoy it. This year was year 18. She walked the Southwest Coast Path along England's coastline, and the photos show her smiling on a cliff in Cornwall. After 17 years of doing this, she said the nausea and anxiety on the anniversary are finally gone. That took 17 years, but she got there. I have nothing to add to her story except this. If you are in the middle of your own recovery and it feels like it will never end, her 18 years of annual walks say otherwise.

18 yrs ago, I was violently assaulted & raped while walking alone. Every year on the anniversary of that day, I go on a solo hike to remind myself that there is still beauty in this world & I can enjoy it. This yr, I pushed myself & did a few days of the Southwest Coast Path…

Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward. They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died. She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu. She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭 She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict. He did not act alone. He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim. They planned it. They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away. They drove her out of Abraka into a bush. According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭 But they did not stop. They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals. They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them. The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her. The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation. Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers. One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest. But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018. The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment. Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge? My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back. She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict? Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed. Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten? Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved. Help us cry for justice @Hybrid_Ola @_meera__abdul @AdageorgeA @oku_yungx @Austeiin @lilyally98 @instablog9ja This is the news on BBC. It's everywhere on the Internet too google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.… #JusticeForElozino #EndRitualKillings

i hope it becomes clearer to the younger generation that a lot of doctrinal beliefs are hogwash. and we have all been blessed with intelligence and perceptive powers to determine for ourselves what is right and what is wrong.
