9 years ago today, "The Pharmacist of Auschwitz" was published. @trishaposner wrote a powerful biography of the chief Nazi pharmacist at Auschwitz. No U.S. publisher wanted it. She got it out anyway. Word of mouth—not hype—made it a national bestseller in 16 languages.
I just finished The Gales of November It is a fantastic book! Thanks to John U Bacon for telling this story of heroism family honor and tragedy.
