We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Hideki Sato, who served as President of SEGA from 2001 to 2003. SEGA would like to offer its condolences to his family and friends. Starting his career with the development of arcade machines, Mr. Sato was instrumental in the development of iconic home consoles, including the SG-1000, SC-3000, Mega Drive/Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast. His leadership helped lay the foundation of SEGA, and his contributions had a significant and lasting impact on the entire gaming industry. We will always remember his contributions to our company, and all of us at SEGA extend our deepest condolences as we honor his memory.

A few ppl have asked why I haven’t been posting much lately and it’s because in December my mom was given a prognosis of about 2 weeks to live but she’s still here and fighting so i’m taking care of her and trying to spend as much time with her as I can, to say this has been the hardest time of my life is an understatement but I’m gonna post when I can and I appreciate all of you and look forward to interacting with ya’ll again more in the near future and I appreciate the support and friendship this community has given to me! 🐉♥️

@ABY_FGC Devs have made it clear they want to make it easy as possible for casuals to play and win. Casuals will keep playing the game and buy DLC. Engagement and sales metrics are all that matter.

When Rare released Killer Instinct, they slapped a "Ultra 64" logo on the cabinet to hype up Nintendo's upcoming console. In reality, the N64 couldn't dream of running the arcade's massive hard drive-based FMV backgrounds. It was the ultimate 90s bait-and-switch. 🐍🕶️

@MartialDL @jaeon009 I thought NRS got Baraka absolutely right in MK1. The take on the Tarkatans as victims of a disease is great. Baraka’s new backstory gives him real weight and purpose in the story. His design is the strongest in the game. The subtle nod to MK2 in his default skin is a nice touch.

@jaeon009 Specially the faces, god I hate the characters faces in MK1, like for example Baraka model was fine in MK11 but in MK1…he’s horrible, same with Raiden and so many others…

See? I'm not crazy. Visually MK11 looks better than MK1.
