@Kommnenos @CapnKibs There's more deterrent options on the way. Personally thought it was really dumb you could cheese anything in the first game, and ruined some immersion for me. Tbh feels like most people are asking for easy mode, and that mod everyone is talking is basically that.

It's a valid criticism. Why can't we hunt fish to survive in a game. Allowing the player to learn the importance of not overhunting through showing instead of telling. Is masterful game design. Could show the resilience and limits of an ecosystem. This should be a core part of the game rather than virtue signaling.

How to play as USA in Command and Conquer Generals. -Build barracks, get Rangers out there on the map to control buildings. -Build airfield, get a few Comanches in the air. They can intervene anywhere and give you more reach across the map. -The enemy will be building Gatling Tanks or Quad Cannons so you need to build a War Factory and get some tanks. If you're against GLA get Paladins to stop the Scorpion rockets. -Once you've got control of the key buildings and supply locations across the map, build Patriot sites and Raptors. Have the Raptors on patrol just in front of your base defences so they kill any tanks approaching you. -Build up economy with supply drop sites. Build more Airfields. Have enough Raptors and Comanches on patrol that nothing can penetrate your base. -Build up huge tank and infantry army to attack enemy. -When you attack, use air force to selectively take out non-AA defences but make your army move in first so they're distracted. Gotta hit them with everything at once. Some more tips: -Pathfinders are worth it if enemy is spamming rocket troops. -Humvees are OK in early game to go out patrolling the map and killing infantry before they can take buildings like oil derricks. -You don't need to worry about enemy infantry in buildings, you have Flash Bangs. $800 and every Ranger can kill infinite building infantry. -I think Stealth Fighters are overrated. Aurora Bombers are good for taking out enemy Super Weapons but not much else. -USA us for turtling not rushing. Their units are too expensive and delicate to throw away.

As someone who was raised Roman Catholic let's get this one straight. Papal infallibility ended in the Middle Ages. (and never was biblical in the first place) Historically some popes betrayed their callings, slept around, were adulterous, fornicated, murdered, involved themselves in high politics which demonstrates that while some popes are true spiritual men, others are traitors of the faith and shall be judged accordingly. While if you are an active Catholic you can and should respect the pope as your spiritual father, it's also fine to criticize and disagree with the pope when his words don't match with Jesus' words. Whenever there is a discordance, Jesus has priority and dominance. If you give papal words priority over Jesus' you are worshipping a man and you are a heretic (a words Catholics love to use against me whenever I dare to disagree politely with the pope) . Pope Francis already took the unchristian route of universalism. "All roads lead back to the Father" is in open contradiction with Jesus' words: "I am the way the truth and the light, no man cometh unto the Father but by me". Hence the pope was doctrinally wrong and his teachings in that instance were false. Universalism is false. The new pope appears to be going into a similar direction. Keep watch.

I have a feeling that seed oil scare is literally no different than sugar scare or fat scare or yolk scare, and is probably pushed by olive oil companies to boost their sales
