🚨| F1 team boss disagrees with Verstappen over blistering 'false racing' rant: — Audi team principal Jonathan Wheatley disagreed with Max Verstappen's fierce criticism of the new regulations and the racing seen during the race. Wheatley suggested that Verstappen's comments might be influenced by his current challenging position. “There are battles going on in the field that I think are hugely encouraging. I think you can understand Max's comments perhaps because of where he finds himself.” — Verstappen was highly critical of the new rules after a weekend where he was not in contention for the podium and ended with a race retirement. Still trying to process Sunday's race and the reactions from all the drivers I spoke to. Safety concerns highlighted by NOR, SAI and others are worrying, as was COL's lucky escape with LAW at the start. Cars not getting away cleanly can happen under any regs, but the chances are clearly higher now. NOR running over ANT's lost cooling fan was also a warning - he said he was too busy looking at the homework on his steering wheel and didn't see it. If drivers are more distracted than in the past, especially at a time when cars ahead can slow suddenly, it's can't be good.
