@TheCinesthetic The other food was very real and designed by chef Dominque Crenn. I know bc I ate it for weeks haha. Although they did swap out the “scallop” for a potato so the seafood wouldn’t go rancid during the many hours of shooting!

The reason why Japanese tweets go so hard is because the translation from Japanese to English is overly literal and feels almost robotic and mostly written with a very whimsical undertone. Big fan
