They fired her not knowing she had passed and replaced her in 2 days. STOP STRESSING OUT OVER THESE JOBS. Live your life! Get some rest! Use your PTO, Take a vacation! Have faith!

I started my period unexpectedly at work and bled through onto an office chair. I was mortified because my manager was a man. I told him, bracing for humiliation. You know what he did? He didn’t make me clean the stain while panicking. He quietly got cleaning supplies, took care of the chair, handed me his jacket to tie around my waist, made sure I had pads, and helped me find a change of clothes. No jokes. No disgust. No scene. He just made sure I was okay.

تخرجت من الجامعة بمعدل ممتاز. ٣.٨ من ٤. كنت أقول الحين أتوظف. قدمت على ٦٠ وظيفة. رحت ٢٠ مقابلة. كل مرة يقولون لي "نعتذر. تم اختيار مرشح آخر." أنا عارف إن مرشح آخر معناها واحد جاب واسطة. في مرة، قابلت واحد من اللي معاي في الجامعة. معدله ٢.٢. كان يغش في الاختبارات. أحياناً ما يحضر المحاضرات. سألته وين تشتغل؟ قال في شركة اتصالات كبيره. راتبه ١٢ ألف. قلت له كيف جبتها؟ قال "عمي يشتغل هناك." سكت. ما قدرت أتكلم. أنا اللي تعبت ٤ سنين. سهرت. ضحيت. جبت معدل ممتاز. وهو اللي كان نايم في المحاضرات. متوظف وأنا لا. رجعت البيت. زوجتي سألتني لقيت شيء؟ قلت لا. قالت "يمكن مشكلة في معدلك؟" قلت معدلي ممتاز. قالت "يمكن مشكلة في سيرتك الذاتية؟" قلت كل اللي معاي توظفوا. أنا الوحيد اللي باقي. سكتت. بس نظرتها كانت تقول "أنت المشكلة." أنا مو المشكلة. المشكلة إن معارفي توظفوا بالواسطة وأنا ما عندي واسطة. اليوم صرت أقدم على أي وظيفة. أي راتب. أي مكان. بس حتى اللي ما يحتاج واسطة، يطلبون خبرة. والخبرة ما تجي بدون وظيفة. حلقة مفرغة. المشكلة؟ إني حاس إني ظلمت. تعبت وما حد قدّر تعبي. ولا أعرف وش أسوي غير إني أكمل أقدم وأقدم. ساعدوني... كيف أوصل لفرصة بدون واسطة في بلد كل شيء فيه بالواسطة؟
