Whenever you talk about northerners will defeat Tinubu you hear some neophyte say, northern votes alone cannot make one election, if so Buhari would have won long ago. The reality is Buhari always won but was not declared what we had before 2015 were not election but written results. Semblance of real elections started from 2015, thanks to card reader technology, yes rigging happens but not the crass written results, do you wonder why total number of voters keep reducing from 2015 to date while our population increases, is because at every cycle improvement happens, if not because of divided opposition Tinubu would have lost 2023, and the only reason he won despite the rigging was the Muslim Muslim sentiments, which have evaporated for 2027. Northern votes can make you president in the second round, election must not be won in first round that needed 25% in 2/3 of states, even without the 2/3 if you win majority votes you force a second round between first two major candidates where simple majority will suffice.
