Let’s do this. 1. Power: Tinubu’s government, in 2000, contracted AES to build an IPP that will generate 270MW of electricity to Lagos residents in order to exit the irrational power supply being provided by the FG. The 270MW is now part of our national grid. First of it’s Kind

Peter Obi isn't used to solving any problem, especially if it doesn't directly benefit him, hence him jumping from one party to another. His biggest undoing was leaving LP. A proper politician will have helped solve the crisis but we all know he isn't.

You are not wrong to flag the risks, "consensus" sounds smooth on paper, but in practice it often creates more tension than open primaries. The real issue is that once governors publicly declare positions, they raise the stakes. Anyone who feels sidelined, aspirants, party stakeholders, even local power blocs, will likely push back through courts or parallel structures. That is how internal disagreements quickly turn into full-blown legal and political crises. States like Nasarawa State and Gombe State are good examples of how fragile party unity can get when consensus isn't genuinely inclusive. What starts as a strategy to avoid conflict can actually deepen divisions if people feel excluded. If this isn't carefully managed, it won't just be internal drama, it could weaken All Progressives Congress heading into 2027 and even 2031. Opposition parties thrive on that kind of fragmentation. At the end of the day, consensus only works when it is built on real agreement, not imposed alignment. Otherwise, it is just postponing a bigger fight.

True with the President’s vision for 2031. The problem with consensus, however, is that some governors will not be able to manage the fallout that will occur from their declarations going into the election and that could trigger a major legal battles within the party. Nasarawa, Gombe and many other states are in trouble as we speak and here is hoping things don’t escalate further before they address it. Else, APC will be losing many states come 2027/2031.
OPEOLUWA 😎😎@OpeBee

The president really understand politics and has given governors free rein with this electoral act that eliminates indirect primary and upholds the consensus system This is a long term strategy for 2031. The possibility of picking a consensus candidate as his successor is very likely at this point.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: The opposition became a total mess because of Atiku’s lack of respect for the unwritten but important zoning arrangement. I know PDP boys will argue.
