@brownfrie I think Netflix doesn't do announcements for multi-season shows that often compared to other networks
S3 was greenlit around the time when S2 marketing started, so we *might* see S4 soon-ish

The matching tool is designed as a screening tool, not a automatically-strike-everything. YT NEEDS more guard-rails, but the tool is ALSO being blatantly misused.

The most visible proof that YouTube's current copyright system is broken, just arrived.
An Italian TV channel used footage from Nvidia's DLSS5 Trailer and then sent a copyright strike to ANYONE else on YouTube that used that clip. INCLUDING Nvidia themselves ☠️

So let me get this straight @TeamYouTube I recorded and posted my video on 03/16/2026 LA7 used my content on 04/04/2026 and then filed a copyright on my channel? How can the YouTube system not just look at the dates and see this makes no sense.

The shoot-first-ask-questions-later system has been a nightmare already (my next vid is in copyright jail btw lmao), but what are you going to do when people start remaking whole things with AI?

Cause let's be real: they wanna push this idea that it's being destroyed to create a form of artificial scarcity. They're not actually doing so.
