Why Is Classic Wow Hiring for This Job? A new job posting for the classic wow team has players speculating, and blizzard may have tipped their hand regarding classic+. On x yesterday @NoraValletta the lead software engineer on wow classic posted a job opening for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER specializing in UI why would the classic wow team be hiring a UI designer? what UI is there to design in classic, or tbc, or wrath? Which naturally led people to assume this is a role for classic+.. BUT EVEN IF ITS A JOB FOR CLASSIC +. Why do we need a UI designer for classic+? the interface for vanilla wow has worked for..i dont know.. 20 years. So people have been speculating. 1) Maybe classic+ is going the retail route and getting rid of addons. In that case, a UI designer would make perfect sense for implementing a dps meter, improving the auction house..maybe making it stop lagging? 2) Some people have jumped to the UI designer being hired to design a new cash shop. I hope thats not the case, but you guys tell me what your best theory is for why classics team needs a UI designer right now. I'll pin the best theories.

This is an actual, legitimate problem in TBC right now. I really hope more light is shed on this conversation because it needs to be said. Blizzard needs to look into this with a human behind the wheel — not just through automation. Players are getting bullied out of nodes and resources because bots farm these areas on repeat. You know the spots, and I know the spots — there are more than enough to add up. Something definitely needs to be done about people being unjustly mass-reported for no proper reason. Blizzard’s report system is being taken advantage of. It’s honestly the only major negative I have with TBC overall… aside from the painfully slow Auction House and mailing system that hasn’t been fixed for far too long. Maybe I’ll make a video on this, but I support @nohitjerome here 💯

Immediately Leave These Groups (Red Flag) The worst part of WoW is trying to make inroads into tbc, and it's up to us as a community to stop it. TICKET RUNS are here, and if you find yourself in one of these, you're in the ultimate tourist trap. Goldfarmers, and even some particularly desperate guilds, are selling you a spot in their raid. No guarantee of loot, no guarantee the run will even be better than a normal pug. But you'll be paying a thousand or more gold for the privilege of..raiding with goldsellers. No friendships, no connections, just using you. Now beyond the fact that you're better than this, you could easily clear karazhan on a fresh 70 with just a few normal dungeons and auction house gear, there's the risk. Right now, blizzard's automated ban system going wild right now, so trading and interacting with these full time goldsellers isnt the best idea. Plus, you can bet if something doesnt go their way, you're getting mass reported. But this point might be the most controversial, supporting these ticket runs just sucks. Buying gold to pay some jerk to carry you through content you can easily clear yourself isn't the childhood dream

I’ve played wow long enough to remember the days when guys complained that no girls played wow (while I sat silently in ventrilo) to now where apparently too many are playing and ruining the game. Ah the cycle is in balance

@xerwo The only thing hard in retail is mythic raiding and high level pvp. Most retail players are actually completely dogshit just like most classic players

Classic only exists because it provides an easier experience for players that can't keep up with retails difficulty.
