Remote control is now live in the Copilot CLI! Run Copilot on your local machine, leave it plugged in, head to the beach, and drive the agent from your mobile phone 😎

@digitarald Having said that I think search can be helpful for any navigation ex switch to named session, search and go to previous conversation for fork. promptzy.app check spotlight search. Any functionality like this great in vscode to tag/save and reuse prompt

@Kphummingbird Oh, big fan of fuzzy finding. I know we got a few issues open for out session search. You want both to find past conversations but also use past prompts by that command?

@digitarald Any existing features to search like fzf for command history. It makes life very easy to quickly search conversation history or snippets and use across chat plus cli. User can bookmark reusable input text/snippets and quickly use it Ex. github.com/elliotekj/fpf

@digitarald I was looking for adhoc prompt snippet search originally. User can save any text or reusable snippet from conversation to prompt/snippet history. Search and use as needed. Not every text is worth saving in prompt history ( not prompt.md)

@_Evan_Boyle @_Evan_Boyle @pierceboggan I was not sure how to request feature request. FZF prompt history search + prompt snippets = fzf is super handy to re play commands from history. fzf style prompt search for all historical input given. Prompt md is good for larger text but simple

OpenTelemetry support coming to GitHub Copilot in @code!
Oren Melamed@OrenMe

Adopting GenAI SDLC traits in companies and teams is hard If you scale it to a few dozens you already NGMI and need proper stats to track it From adoption to productivity to quality - how? Happy to see that @code insiders adopted open-telemetry We can now have deep observability to how copilot is really acting up in our org, where it hallucinates, which models work best, where do we get best token to PRU ratio and provide actual tools to improve as shift left GenAI-SDLC-ops This will be out in the next few hours probably so keep an eye and share your best practices with me for GenAI OTel

@pierceboggan @code Chat Debug Makeover Imagine a clean LangSmith‑style interface built into VS Code for Copilot — neat traces, model stats, and token flow, minus the debug clutter. Debugging made elegant.

@pierceboggan @code LLM Meta Summary After each chat, show a quick line with model used, token count, attempts/retries, and cost. Transparent stats make it easy to track efficiency and tune performance in real time.

@pierceboggan @code An in‑session AI Agent recommendation Coach that reflects back: “If you had given me this prompt/structure/set of context, I’d have performed faster & better.” Learns from prompt retry, retries, suggests structure tweaks, and reduces token waste — smarter prompts, lower costs.

@instagram Product feature request: 1) Can we improve save collection feature. There is no way to organize collection ex travel—> chicago, ny etc., fuzzy name search on collection is really useful. When we save on post it just show long list of collection which required to scroll
