That loss hurt but I was already a veteran of heart crushing Viking defeats by that point. 1998 was my "real tears" moment. The '87 NFC championship loss was my first taste of true heartbreak. I was too young for the '70s SB stuff.

That’s the loss that hurts most… We had a real chance to win a Super Bowl that year. But it wasn’t meant to be.

@Kramer9Guy Yes this is pretty much me. I have vague recollections of the Raiders Super Bowl. I’m sure it hurt as I was firmly a fan but as an 8 year old you think next year will be the year.
