@saruboss0812 I disagree, but I m not in the mood for a long discussion. All I’ll say is that their games will always be available across PC, cloud, and handhelds like Steam Deck, Ally etc. Also they have Play Anywhere. That's far more multiplatform than PS or Nintendo.

The day exclusivity die will be the day gaming industry has taken first good step. When you see the hardware prices increasing, exclusives won't be enough to meet your targets. Best move will be to release your games everywhere so people can experience your games anywhere.

I don't know why people are ao hung up 9n plastic box when forza horizon 6 was one of the biggest launches for Microsoft on steam, ever. Much bigger than any of the PS GOTY ports on PC. Just release good games on all platforms you can.

@saruboss0812 Exactly my thoughts.

@Kreeth12 Most of the revenue of PS comes from live service games like FIFA, COD, Fortnite, roblox. Not exclusives unlike Nintendo. I think ps6 would be expensive AF so they want to lock down everything they can now to justify ps6. GTA 6 will help them but not long term.

Their PC strategy was dreadful, peak "We tried nothing and failed". They thought releasing their games a year late, at full price, with inconsistent port quality, with PS account stuff. They thought their games were gems that would sell regardless of price and delayed release.

@saruboss0812 A game like Tomodochi life would never be a hit on PS.

@saruboss0812 People bring up Nintendo in this exclusivity debate while forgetting that game development costs in Japan are much lower than in the US, where most Sony studios are based. On top of that, Nintendo games generally arent high budget cinematic titles like Sony’s.
