When a marginalized group of people are telling you that your lore is offensive, you need to listen. It’s the responsibility of white people to elevate those voices and change behavior when it is necessary.

I firmly believe all should take time to educate themselves on harmful tropes in fiction, especially in the fantasy genre that has a LONG history of racism. Learn to read, think critically of your ideas, and practice media literacy.

I worked with Vic a lot and have even a comm to do right now but I'll work on refunding her. I was not aware of the racism and I was only slightly aware of the lore. I just thought it was poorly worded and didn't look into it. I cannot move forward with being associated with this
