💭 an alter in Nikto’s headspace is an “older brother” figure (maybe the deepest-buried and least fronting in the system) that emerged from the subconcious need for some form of a “protector” from trauma, based on the few fragmented memories of his older brother as a kid —

@jaxnullset THANK YOU :D i really wanted Nikto to have a headmate that helped with controlling the others in headspace — i didnt want them to be a “babying” type, but one that is very grounding and deeply familiar (resembling Nikto’s brother) — they deserve that calm & unshakable presence 🥹

Nines bonus: when Nines has bad meltdowns, Nikto often gets triggered by the familiarity of the outburst — the loudness of everything, the ache in the head. before he can get overwhelmed as well, the “big bro” is fronting and ready to handle the emotions for both of them ♡

@fangs4biting It is in fact an older one! Both Nikto and Gunner have got older brothers in my universe, and have found that similar fraternal refuge in fellow close operators. I have yet to pen down what I have thought of Nikto’s brother, but I think about him often :)

Should I make one for Nikto’s brother as well? I’ve got a loose idea of his (made-up) timeline based on various headcanons. Only problem is that I don’t exactly have a face claim for him, or a name.
