I wrote this Thursday, about the death of my sister last August. She had a living funeral, died at home, and we kept her body home for 3 days--a process that was soothing in the inevitable torment, and which I wish more people knew IS an option. ❤️ Advice for the Dying (a poem)

Just finished this book by the unbelievable @KrisPoB! Manual on how to survive the unsurvivable - an example that life can go in the most spectacular ways. Extraordinary roller coaster type of reading experience. #adventure is a wonderful thing ✨🎢🎈💕🎱

@KrisPoB @KrisPoB I remember interviewing you for my @Telegraph Column. You had just launched @CoppaFeelPeople. You were the first to warn and educate young people about #breastcancer and to support those who, like you, developed this horrible disease. Your achievement is huge.

To whoever needs to read this: i was told I had incurable breast cancer at the age of 23. I didn’t know if I would survive the treatment let alone the disease. I also didn’t know how to get my head around a 2-3 year average survival time. Anyway, that was 14 years ago today…

@KrisPoB May I ask what kind of BC? And what treatment did you have and currently on? I have stage 4, initially diagnosed stage 1, 9 years ago. Now Im on meds for life, stable.

Trust your body. Believe in hope. Leave room for miracles.

You won’t always feel as frightened as you do today. You can be your own statistic. Cancer won’t be the first thing and last thing you think about at night. You will go back to thinking and worrying about all the other shit life can throw at you.

Joined trodelvy fb group and now I’m too scared to try. Suffering a lot w worry and angst. Where’s the group for the at least half dead but still living mbc? That drug is a monster. But also can’t swallow food. Or pills. Shortage of liquid Advil. 🔫me now.

@CANsurvive I’m on trodelvy! Apart from hair loss I have no SEs. I’m also on 75% dose which I think helps.
