I'm building a Shopify app from scratch and documenting every step. The app: a surcharges and duties calculator that lets merchants add tariffs, fees, and extra charges at checkout based on where the customer is buying from. Why now: tariffs are changing every month, de minimis is dead, and merchants are either eating the cost or surprising customers at checkout. Both kill conversions. Why me: I'm a Shopify dev who's built stores and custom apps for clients, but I've never shipped a public app to the App Store. And honestly? I don't fully know how to build one yet either. Things I'm figuring out live: → How to actually develop a Shopify app properly → How to get approved on the App Store → How to price it → How to market it → How to get my first 10 users → How to host, deploy, and scale it I'm streaming the entire build on YouTube. Naming it, designing it, vibe coding it, shipping it. Everything happens live. Starting from literally nothing. Goal: $0 → $1k MRR Follow if you want to watch someone figure it all out in real time. Anthropic valuation is based on the potential earning. It’s very volatile and risky. Whereas Google Valuation is tested and consistent. You can take a bet that 10 years from now Google still be a trillion dollar company because of their cash flow, profit and good will. Where as most normal people don’t even have heard Anthropic. I don’t think they have even gone public so the Anthropic value is set by VCs who are competing with each other. They are betting that Anthropic will eventually go public and will be worth much more. The issue is this AIs model are very uncertain. One month Nano Banana is the best another month chatGPT2.0 is best another month Claude design. So it’s race and a risky one too. Where as Google has many products in which it has monopoly. So conclusion - Google is a trillion dollar company 100%, where as for Anthropic only future will tell because as a retail investor you can’t have all the information of a private company.

If Anthropic has a trillion dollar valuation while Google has a $4.5 trillion valuation, there are only two conclusions to be drawn Either Anthropic is incredibly overpriced or Google is incredibly underpriced. The trick is to figure out which one is right
