@KritKypto @ilySalt my bad for calling you a dumbass. I didn’t watch much of that stream they did to notice
English

@Clorflum Her stream with Asta made it pretty obvious that it was about to happen.
English

@KritKypto @ilySalt you're genuinely a dumbass. bros allergic to alcohol.
English

@mrmikeMTL Quality sleep and no alcohol. Lack of sleep and alcohol weaken your immune system.

@strawberi_fizz @inlew_of There's another theory suggesting it comes from slavery. Slave owners would give unwanted scraps and old chicken to the enslaved, often throwing it on the ground. They washed it to remove the dirt, debris, and odor.

@pepperyonce @Queenlourdess @Complex 5% is unlikely. The average uhnw portfolio is tracking the S&P 500 and returning 10%. That's $68 mil plus his annual income. The 40% in gift tax he'd owe after the $15mil lifetime exemption is why I think its not true. The wealthy avoid that.
English

@KritKypto @Queenlourdess @Complex $34 million a year includes himself, his workers and over ten children. Nicola alone would take $12m so the OP is right, it doesn’t add up!

Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn Beckham's wife, gets $1M monthly allowance from dad Nelson Peltz. Read: complex.com/life/a/helen-s…

English

@Queenlourdess @Complex A conservative portfolio with $1.7 billion returning an average of 5% a year with a 2% withdrawl rate would produce $34 million a year and maintain the principal.
English

@its_Devn_ @JonathanGuck @FishHook2481 @biggerboy111 The USA doesn't have an extradition treaty with Russia. Also, he's not a US citizen; he has permanent resident status.
English

@IAmClintMurphy @skylarromines @yslmammi This is nonsense. It is black and white. You either have integrity, or you don't. Resolve issues or leave.
English

@ApoorvMisra @cansimitus Because individually they can't guarantee they won't be the first to leave, which means they can't rule out certain death.
English

@KritKypto @cansimitus What if all of them decide to start running simultaneously ?
English

@cansimitus Couldn't you just say I'll shoot the first person to leave the field and accomplish the same thing?
English

Number the prisoners 1–100 and announce: “If anyone tries to escape, I’ll shoot the lowest-numbered among the runners.” #1 knows running = guaranteed death, so he stays. Then #2 knows #1 won’t run, so he’d be the lowest runner, guaranteed death, so he stays. This logic cascades to #100, so nobody runs.
English

@hamptonism Tell them that the first person to leave the field gets shot in the head.
English

@Sandeesolomon @ms0nigghaz The concept of love languages is based on how someone receives love, not how they express it. For some reason, the internet has turned it into both. Probably because we're all self-obsessed.
English

@TwinkTheory It's often misleading because they distribute some of their wealth while they're alive. "I'm not passing on assets to my son when I die, but I did create a $10,000,000 trust for him while I was alive." Not to mention all the opportunities provided.
English

The way these people view inheritance is so strange and anathema to normal impulses. Middle class people work their whole lives in the hope of leaving their children a tiny nest egg of some kind, they know what financial insecurity feels like, being one bit of bad luck away from losing it all. I can’t imagine being this wealthy and flinging my family into this reality.

Simon Cowell (66) plans to leave no assets to his son “I don’t believe in passing down from generation to generation.” His $600 million net worth will go to children's or dog's charities “I’m not too interested in money, but I don’t aim to have some pot of gold for my son. I’ll take what my folks stated… ‘College will be paid for, and then you must start’
