So…..I’m a look you in the eyebrows when I say this. You may have to wake up earlier or stay up later. You may have to do more weekends than others. Maybe it’s little kids. Maybe it’s a FT gig. Yesterday when I shared my $40k/month milestone someone asked: “what did you have to give up to accomplish that?” I sat with that one for a bit but here’s my answer…. I gave up: -Saying yes to things that don’t align -Instant gratification -Doom scrolling -Television -Comfort -Excuses -Sleep “What about family time?” I’m not one of those dads that just tucks away in the corner to just focus on making money. I literally flew from a work trip with my 9-5 in Minnesota straight to Anaheim just to be with my family at my son’s travel basketball game. It’s not about sacrificing what matters. It’s about sacrificing what doesn’t so you can show up fully for what does. Everybody has to sacrifice something if you want success. Choose wisely.
