Buying the dip: why DLMM Bid–Ask > Limit Order? Most people only use limit orders. Is it true that they are leaving yield on the table? Let’s look into it using @CetusProtocol 👇 1⃣ Limit Orders It is simple, you set an exact price that you want to buy. Limit order is good if you want: • A specific entry price • Zero management • No exposure if price doesn’t hit But here’s the downside 👇 You earn nothing while waiting. If you miss the price by 0.1%? No fill and no yield. 2⃣ DLMM (Bid–Ask strategy) This is like buying the dip while farming swap fees. You get paid for being patient. You place liquidity on the bid side. If price dips, you accumulate the token across the price range + earn swap fees. 3⃣ Why DLMM > Limit Orders? (most of the time) • Earn fees while waiting • Partial fills across a range • Works best in choppy / volatile market • Capital is always doing something Limit orders are passive, while DLMM is productive. 4⃣ Rule of Thumb • Long-term bullish → DLMM Bid–Ask • Sideways market → DLMM Bid–Ask • Exact entry, no thinking → Limit order If you believe in the asset, DLMM turns dip-buying into a yield strategy. That’s the DLMM edge. Want a real, step-by-step example of how to set up a simple Bid-Ask DLMM position on @CetusProtocol? Let us know below 👇
