Hypebiscus at Borneo Blockchain Conference 2025 @BorneoBC2025: Bridging Bitcoin and Solana with AI-Driven DeFi The inaugural public showcase of Hypebiscus.xyz at the Borneo Blockchain Conference 2025 marked a major milestone in our journey. As a protocol team building AI-powered DeFi solutions for Bitcoin on Solana, being invited to exhibit among key Southeast Asian blockchain innovators was both a privilege and a validation of our mission. Our booth wasn't just a display — it was a conversation hub. From Bitcoin maximalists curious about DeFi to young builders eager to understand Solana’s advantages, we had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of attendees from diverse backgrounds. Many of them had never seen Bitcoin used in this way: live, on-chain, AI-routed, and almost gasless. Each interaction was a learning moment. Some visitors discovered the speed and cost-efficiency of Solana for the first time. Others appreciated how our protocol simplified the complexities of bridging, routing, and liquidity sourcing — all under one unified interface powered by our custom AI agent. We also engaged with potential strategic partners like @btcmyofficial, @bitcoin @blox_malaysia and venture capital firms who expressed interest in how Hypebiscus like is positioning itself as the Bitcoin-to-Solana DeFi bridge — not just for yield, but for accessibility and efficiency. The feedback was invaluable, and we're now incorporating suggestions on improving the user experience and UI based on real-time walkthroughs conducted at the booth. Perhaps most inspiring was the support from regional stakeholders, including a surprise visit by Sarawak’s Deputy Premier, YB Datuk Amar Dr. Sim Kui Hian. His words — “Make us proud; this is what Malaysian tech should aim for” — affirmed our belief in the importance of building both locally and globally. From a technology standpoint, we demonstrated: AI-driven decision-making for BTC swaps Instant onboarding with zBTC Automated liquidity routing (soon!) Almost gasless user experience powered by @solana Closed beta access for early testers All of this came backed by previous wins from global hackathons (@SuperteamMY MegaHack, @ZeusNetworkHQ Solana Breakout, @MetaMask for Everyone Track). Yet Borneo Blockchain Conference 2025 offered something different — a human connection. It allowed us to speak face-to-face with users, listen to their challenges, and explain our approach in their language.
