A friend of mine ghosted a man after five dates!!! Three weeks later, she landed her dream job the one she’d been chasing for months. Turns out he’s her direct supervisor. He’s pretending they’ve never met. Now she’s confused. Does she quit the job she desperately needs or stay and act like nothing ever happened?

My wife and I invited a few friends over for food, drinks, and games. One guest asked if he could see the upstairs. I politely told him that we don't allow visitors into our bedrooms. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps upstairs. I went to check and found the same guy opening doors and looking around the rooms. I asked, "Didn't I just tell you upstairs was off-limits?" He replied, "I just wanted to look around" That was all I needed to hear. I told him and the person he came with to leave immediately. Till today, they're no longer welcome in my home. Some people don't understand that respecting boundaries is basic respect. Did I overreact?

We paid lobola on behalf of our brother on Sunday. They wanted R80 000 but we only had R60 000. We agreed that we will pay the remaining R20 000 within the next three months. It was also agreed that our bride will remain at her home until lobola is fully paid.Unfortunately our brother got involved in a car accident and died. From a cultural point of view, what must happen to the money we paid❓ Must it be refunded back to us or what❓

Now even Christians are encouraging and recommending everyone to go and watch Polygamist. I won't lie—I tried to watch it after seeing so many people talking about it on TikTok and other social media platforms. I struggled to move past two minutes, and the reason was simple: the sexual scenes. One thing many believers fail to understand is that you cannot be praying against lust, pornography, masturbation, and sexual addiction while feeding your mind with content that awakens the very desires you are asking God to help you overcome. Some people are wondering why they keep falling into temptation. The answer is simple: what you entertain eventually influences you. If you are trying to stop masturbating and watching pornography, but your daily entertainment is filled with sexual scenes, nudity, adultery, and immorality, your battle will become much harder. As Christians, we must learn to guard our hearts and our eyes. The Bible says: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." What enters your eyes eventually enters your mind, and what enters your mind eventually affects your actions. What surprises me is seeing some Christian women judging all men based on a movie. A movie is not reality. Not every man is a polygamist. Not every husband is a cheat. Not every marriage is destined to fail. Not every man is secretly living a double life. As the world is talking about Polygamist, can we also talk about Monogamist? Can we talk about the thousands of faithful husbands who wake up every morning and choose their wives? Can we talk about men who have opportunities to cheat but refuse because they honor God and respect their marriage vows? Can we talk about men who stay committed through financial struggles, sickness, misunderstandings, and difficult seasons? Can we talk about men who are raising their children, providing for their families, and remaining faithful when nobody is applauding them? Because they exist. It is possible for a man to be married to one woman. It is possible for a man not to commit adultery. It is possible for a man to reject a woman who is trying to seduce him. It is possible for a man to remain loyal even when temptation is available. It is possible for a man to honor his vows until death. The problem with our generation is that movies, social media, and celebrity culture have become our teachers. People are forming opinions about marriage from Netflix instead of Scripture. People are learning relationships from movies instead of God's Word. People are allowing entertainment to define what they believe about men, women, marriage, and family. As believers, our standard is not movies. Our standard is not TikTok. Our standard is not trends. Our standard is not celebrity opinions. Our standard is the Word of God. The Bible is our blueprint for marriage. The Bible teaches faithfulness. The Bible teaches commitment. The Bible teaches self-control. The Bible teaches covenant. The Bible teaches that marriage is honorable and should be protected. Before I watch any movie, I ask myself one question: "What is the end result of this?" Will it build my faith? Will it strengthen my values? Will it bring me closer to God? Will it help me become a better husband, wife, father, mother, or believer? Not everything that is popular is profitable. Not everything that is trending is beneficial. And not everything that everyone is watching should be watched by a child of God. Let's be careful what we consume. Let's stop allowing movies to become our theology. Let's stop judging an entire gender because of a script written for entertainment. And let's remember that while the world may celebrate confusion, God's design for marriage has not changed. The Bible remains our standard. #mybodyisatemple #HolySpirit

Hi, I would like to know the purpose of buying temporary number plates for a vehicle before leaving the port of entry. The reason I am asking is because the ZRP officers told me that these temporary number plates are not recognised, yet we are required to buy them and they are issued with a validity period of 14 days. I imported a vehicle from Japan and, after completing all the necessary paperwork at Kariba Border Post, I was instructed to buy temporary number plates for the vehicle. I complied and purchased the temporary number plates, which were valid for 14 days. I drove to Harare that same evening and arrived home at around 3:00 a.m. The following morning, while on my way to VTS to have my vehicle cleared and obtain a Certificate of Location, which had not been completed at the border post, I was stopped by a police officer. This happened on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at approximately 8:10 a.m. along Simon Mazorodze Avenue, just after Chicken Slice, near what I believe is Birmingham Road. The officer who stopped me impounded my vehicle, stating that it had no number plates. I explained that I had temporary number plates that had been issued at Kariba Border Post the previous day and were still valid. I showed him the temporary number plates, but he said they were of no use and refused to accept my explanation. I was escorted to Mbare Police Station, where my vehicle was impounded. I asked to see the Officer-in-Charge of Traffic, but she was not available. I was then attended to by the Assistant Officer-in-Charge, who listened to my explanation, examined my documents, and instructed that my vehicle be released. He was very understanding and appeared satisfied that my documents were in order. However, while I was waiting for the paperwork to be completed, the Officer-in-Charge arrived. She asked why I was waiting at the charge office, and I explained what had happened. She immediately stated that my vehicle had to remain impounded. I showed her my documents, but she refused to listen and called the Assistant Officer-in-Charge who had authorised my release, instructing him that the vehicle should remain impounded. After further discussion, she informed me that I had to pay a fine for failure to register the vehicle. Having no other option, I paid the USD 30 fine. My concern is that I was fined for failure to register my vehicle despite being in possession of valid temporary number plates that had been issued less than 24 hours earlier and still had 13 days remaining before expiry. I would therefore like an explanation of the purpose of temporary number plates. If they are issued and valid for 14 days, why are motorists required to purchase them if ZRP officers do not recognise them? If the temporary number plates are legally valid, why was my vehicle impounded and why was I fined for failure to register the vehicle while displaying those valid temporary plates? @PoliceZimbabwe

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.
