Now I understand why those god-tier artists put color on top of their rough sketches before doing line art. I might be wrong, but this is what I felt after trying it: it’s easier to decide the colors, overall composition, and even fix the silhouette early on. It might look like an extra step but trust me,it makes the later process much smoother (especially when coloring)
