@Scsigs_YT @BasedPota18 Yeah ik its not meant to be her surname, just another assumption that happened since her father is called Dr. Briefs and usually Doctors are call by their surnames. The original Z English Dub has some reporter call Trunks, Trunks Briefs as well.

@Kugoa_ @BasedPota18 I don't think they do, but Briefs isn't her surname anyway. They just assumed that because her dad's name is Dr. Briefs. Pretty sure they just call her Bulma.

Yknow the fact Sean Schemmel had to ask for permission to actually call Goku “Son Goku” during Kai’s dub is depressing Like, for whatever reason they don’t let Goku actually get called by his full name in the dub lol

@queensblade1100 @FirstDescendant Seems they're removing the need to farm the individual Mutant Cell items and instead you can just pick which one you want to use when you've unlocked the slots.

@FirstDescendant So am I understanding this correctly that they are removing mutant cells altogether? I hope thats not the case because people spent hours grinding them

@Scsigs_YT @BasedPota18 I know thats how they say it in Japan, hence why I said the Dub wouldnt say it that way since we dont say surnames first in English. I just think it woulda been silly to say Son Goku when they say Bulma Briefs and not Briefs Bulma lol. Idk if Kai removed Briefs as her surname.

@Kugoa_ @BasedPota18 Thing is, in Japan, you typically say the surname first when addressing someone by their full name. And in the 1 place they let him say it, he still said it in that order. There's also things like Goten wearing a shirt saying "Son Goten," so I think that's overthinking it.

@Scsigs_YT @BasedPota18 Well, again, it wouldnt be "Son Goku" but rather "Goku Son", otherwise people would (rightly) assume his name is Son but goes by his surname Goku. The reason Son Goku works is because its a nod to his inspiration, Sun Wukong. Unfortunately Goku Son just doesnt sound as good.

@Scsigs_YT @BasedPota18 Well considering that we dont say people's surnames first in English like they do in Japanese, it would actually be "Goku Son" and that just sounds dumb tbh. I completely understand why they dont say his surname in English.

@BasedPota18 The dub writers for Dragon Ball really have a weird aversion to it & I don't know why. In the Battle of Gods dub, would it have killed them to have Goku say, "I am Son Goku, sir" instead of "I am Sir Goku, sir" like he does in Japanese? It says something when he's said it more...

@Dexadriel Don't be. I just took this pic today of Wall Crasher after deliberately leaving my contribution low when it reset to see the ranking numbers and, as you can see from my ranking, there's at least 57k players at end-game alone. It was at 45k six days ago.

Literally Raditz, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell & Buu were all won due to strategy and teamwork, not brute power. Even the times they got stronger than the villain was due to strategy and teamwork first.

Goku went from the guy who used to lecture people about this to now being lectured about it in Super. And don't give me "he forgot." That's not how that works. He's not going to forget such a critical lesson that he came to. It's called Super regressed him.

@son2380 @scentedrose69 @ChiChi_Verse Even Frieza was still due to teamwork. Without Gohan and Krillin giving their energy to Piccolo and Piccolo jumping in to save Goku while he was gathering energy for the Spirit Bomb, it was game over.

@scentedrose69 @ChiChi_Verse They won because of teamwork like the majority of the fights in DBZ, except for Frieza. Vegeta Teamwork, Cell Teamwork, Buu Teamwork and add strategy to it too

@3000Ppmaster @RenRecopilador @scentedrose69 @ChiChi_Verse If Goku hadn't used strategy up until that point, Frieza would have killed him outright and he would never have gotten that power up to get stronger. Relying solely on power is exactly why Frieza lost in the end as well, to both Goku and Future Trunks.

Contrary to the anime filler cell doesn't actually have human DNA If he did, the Z fighters would have all been f***** because that would have made him like Gohan. Also mixed with Piccolo, Frieza and King Cold in there lol

@ChiChi_Verse @GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 Like I agree with his initial statement about Gohan being unique as a hybrid Saiyan but to tell someone they need to rewatch Z then explaining a super condensed and quite different story to how things actually went was silly lol.

@ChiChi_Verse @GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 Oh yeah 100% Trunks thought he surpassed Vegeta ALOT more than he actually had because of the bulkier form, but he was still stronger than Vegeta without it. Vegeta was still the miles better and more experienced fighter between the two though.

It was just proof that he was more experienced and wiser than trunks Trunks came to the conclusion that Vegeta just never obtained this form but he did. He just never tried it because he knew it was useless because it slowed you down

@GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse Also, Krillin knowing that Trunks was holding back proves he is stronger than Vegeta. You cant sense the power of a form someone isn't in, otherwise everyone would know about Gohan's SSJ2 or Goku's SSJ3 before they even transformed.

@GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse No, both Vegeta and Trunks were "handling" their Cell Jr's equally. Both getting hits and getting hit, knocked down and getting back up. Both Vegeta and Trunks were still on their feet and fighting when Gohan goes SSJ2.

@Kugoa_ @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse Trunks then gets additional practice, but beyond that was overwhelmed by Cell Jr, when Vegeta could handle 1, eventually.

@GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse You're saying this as if it all happens in one go. Vegeta tells Semi-Perfect Cell that Trunks is almost as strong as he is (aka stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell). Perfect Cell explains the flaw in Trunks' bulky form. Super Perfect Cell kills Trunks in front of Vegeta.

@Kugoa_ @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse Yes he does when he fights Perfect Cell and uses SSJ Grade2, He remarks that Trunks relied on bulking himself up, and did the technique himself, then scoffs that Vegeta already caught on to that. Confirming Super Vegeta form was cleaner, smarter, better.

@GALVANLazarus @JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse Trunks is stronger than Vegeta even after their HTC training, Trunks was hiding this from Vegeta and is how Krillin knew that Trunks was holding back (Krillin cant sense the power of a form he doesnt even know about).

@JGoku18 @ChiChi_Verse You need to rewatch Z. Vegeta tells Cell that Trunks is just as strong as him, but Cell disproved him and killed Trunks in front of him. Trunks also had the better training mentality than Vegeta. Trunks has the hybrid boost but less potential than Vegeta STILL.
