After 10 months, the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford is expected to leave the Middle East in the coming days, according to a report by The Washington Post citing several American officials. The Ford has been operating in the region alongside two other carriers, USS George H. W. Bush and USS Abraham Lincoln. One source told the newspaper that the carrier is expected to return to the United States in mid-May.
