Today, I saw a 44 year old lady wheel chair bound, multiple health conditions polio paralysed her long ago. Her sole care giver is her 80 year old father. He also takes care of his 2 other adult children with muscular dystrophies. I cant say how I felt, when the old man took out file after file and explained everything to me, while reassuring the daughter so lovingly. I wasnt prepared to see this. Another spectrum of geriatrics I wasnt ready to see yet. Caring for special child to adulthood isnt even something we talk about. #MedTwitter #opdstories

What stands out is the growing imbalance between production and access. India continues to scale smartphone manufacturing, while devices are getting harder to afford in the mass segment. The sub-₹20K category drives both adoption and volumes. Strengthening affordability here can unlock stronger demand and support the entire ecosystem. Read : business-standard.com/opinion/column…

This romanticisation of “public spaces under flyovers”, needs to STOP, as it’s the biggest health exposure risk. Children and youth sitting metres away from traffic are inhaling concentrated NOx and PM₂.₅ levels far higher than what city AQI monitors record. If you want such public spaces, push for ZEV mandates and eliminate tailpipes.
Massimo@Rainmaker1973

This is how public space should be used smart, inclusive, and for everyone In India, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is turning unused space under a bridge into a sports complex. From chess clubs to football grounds

This is not an April Fool’s post. If you truly love your son or daughter and they are above 18, especially if they commute to college or tuition, get them proper driving training twice and buy them an Alto or Celerio/Tiago for their safety. On Indian roads, the game has slipped from our hands, we need that extra layer of safety more than ever before. No one is coming to save you and your kids.

What’s the safety net provided by government despite paying taxes to the same government for years ? With oracle laying off 30K jobs things are going to get tough for families.

@kumarmanish9 Indeed. Very disturbing to watch. Animal type behaviour but not expected in a civilized society. We need to reduce interaction with strangers and others,as we don't know what can trigger them. People without civic sense and no fear of consequences 😞

Real-life stories like this reinforce the perception that being an honest and law-abiding citizen is neither adequately valued nor consistently supported by the system in India.

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: Land owner Pallavi Shah says, "I am the owner of 245... We met with Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy... We did not know that they had such an intention... They told us to give them this land, and they will shift us to 244... We said that we do not want any other land... They gave us many offers... They needed that land... They wanted a passage from our land to their plot... At 1 AM, 6 JCBs came and broke our 1 km-long wall... The police were taking a lot of time while writing our complaint... We went to the court and received an interim injunction and police protection... This is ancestral property... They took our workers' phones... They shut our power down."

When you see a government officer driving a luxury car on a ₹50,000 salary, you are looking at the visible audit trail of a thousand bribes. Nobody investigates. Because the system that would investigate is part of the same audit trail.
