This is horrifying. Kurds attempting to celebrate Newroz, the Kurdish New Year, have been attacked by racist Arabs in Rojava, Syria. One of our greatest concerns regarding the imposition of a terrorist-led regime has always been the preservation of Kurdish culture, identity, and basic rights. Acts of violence such as these do not bode well for the prospects of peace, dignity, or genuine coexistence in the region.
Kurds played a central role in the fight to free Syria, and the world, from the brutality of ISIS terror. They should not be subjected to hatred or violence simply for wishing to peacefully celebrate their culture and identity. No people should be punished for expressing who they are.

I was asked a couple of days ago would Türkiye take part in the War on Iran and I answered no, not unless major red lines were crossed. So what were those red lines? 1) Türkiye being attacked 2) PKK affiliates being armed and attempting to seize land 3) massacre of ethnic Turkic population of Iran.
It seems like over the past 24 hours all three red lines have either been crossed or there are preparations for them being crossed.
I have a bad feeling that in the coming weeks if this war doesn’t end quick it’s going to be difficult for Türkiye to sit this one out.
