@stockoholics it goes back to that school absenteeism issue. It's one of the major causes of kids missing school that costs everyone.

@cmsinvests it's not timing the market ....it's time in the market. This is a perfect vehicle.

@classical963fm hi there I was just listening to a wonderful show about space and moon related songs. It just concluded at 3 PM today. I don't understand why the last choice the wedding anthem was chosen. How is it related to the moon theme? Thanks I'd appreciate it some direction. Great show.

$150 million gold deal gets “BREAKING” treatment?
Global gold flows are $148 BILLION annualized this year. This Venezuela thing is 0.1% of that.
1,000 kilograms. That’s nothing. This is a PR stunt dressed up as major economic event.
“The US is eying Venezuela’s gold” sounds dramatic until you realize this wouldn’t even move the needle on weekly gold ETF flows.
Kobeissi really wrote “BREAKING” for a rounding error in global gold markets.
This is a headline designed for engagement not actual market impact.
English

BREAKING: President Trump has brokered a "multimillion-dollar" gold deal between the US and Venezuela, per Axios.
Details include:
1. Venezuela's state-owned mining company, Minerven, agrees to sell up to 1,000 kilograms of gold destined for US markets
2. Trafigura will "shepherd" the gold to US refineries under a separate arrangement with the US government
3. The contract calls for 98% final gold content, sources say
4. The deal could be worth more than $150 million
The US is eying Venezuela's gold.

@itschrisray it appears as though they guided quite a bit lower on Q4. 30% lower then expected. They buried this in this subscription deal!

🚨 $KRKNF announces absolutely MASSIVE acquisition of Covelya Group.
Covelya Group is an underwater technology company that adds complimentary products and services to the Kraken Robotics portfolio.
What’s shocking is the size of the acquisition relative to Kraken’s own company.
Kraken is paying $615M for the business, of which $480M will be cash, and $135M will be satisfied through issuance of common shares.
Covelya Group comes with 750 employees and is expected to report $249M to $279M in FY 2025 revenue.
For comparison $KRKNF has ~420 employees and is expecting to report $102M to $104M in revenue for FY 2025.
The combined business will have roughly $365M in combined 2025 revenue with a combined adjusted EBITDA margin of 24%.
Cavelya Group is also a very high growth company with a 24% revenue CAGR since 2023.
I’ve continued watching $KRKNF since I exited ~4 months ago to consolidate into $ONDS, but this may be enough to get me back in.
Going to watch the stock closely the next few days. Should be interesting to see how the market reacts to the offering and large cash spend, even if the acquisition is immediately accretive.
