Got the best spot at our liquor store tasting today. Five people picked up High Noon, tried Kickstand, put it down, bought Kickstand.

First look at ‘THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST’ sequel. In theaters on May 6, 2027.

Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a modernized take on the classic 1910s-era Whip from renowned amusement inventor William F. Mangels and Philadelphia Toboggan’s Cuddle Up rides, but with the Disney-only pivoting car design. You won’t find this exact mechanical setup anywhere outside this and the other three Disney attractions that are built on the same system (Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree at DCA, The Happy Ride with Baymax at Tokyo Disneyland, and Woody’s Round-Up in Shanghai Disneyland). Built by Zamperia, it’s actually two separate, identical ride systems running side-by-side. Each unit has 11 vehicles (22 total), allowing higher capacity than a single system. The layout uses multiple rotating turntables in a figure-8 pattern; the front “saucer” (piloted by a Little Green Alien) stays fixed while the trailing rocket trailer pivots and whips side-to-side on the turns. The ride was announced in 2018 as part of a huge expansion at Disneyland Paris but was scrapped in favor of retheming the Studio Tram Tour. (Paris does have a standard Zamperla Demolition Derby called Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, but it lacks the Disney Whip/pivoting action.) #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyFacts
