Public Statement I would like to sincerely thank all media organizations, journalists, and reporters who covered this issue and helped bring attention to the concerns that were raised. Your interest and coverage played an important role in ensuring that the matter received the attention it deserved. However, I now request all media representatives to kindly refrain from visiting our property and housing society for further coverage of this issue. For nearly a week, the residents of the society have experienced continuous disruption due to repeated visits, interviews, and media activity in the common areas. While the coverage was appreciated, it is important that normalcy returns for all residents. I am pleased to state that the dispute has now been resolved through dialogue and cooperation. The white patti that was at the center of the disagreement has been removed, and the affected area has been restored and repainted to its original condition. The matter has therefore reached a satisfactory conclusion. I believe that when a dispute is resolved peacefully and constructively, it is equally important to know when to close the chapter and move forward. In the interest of maintaining harmony, respecting the privacy of residents, and allowing the society to function normally, I consider this issue closed. I once again thank the media for its support and understanding, and I respectfully request everyone to allow the residents to return to their daily lives without further disturbance. Thank you.

@prasadvedpathak This issue was everything you said but not jain jihad . The issue was real but the way it was presented could have been in different. Calling jains outsiders and making it marathi vs jain issue was a political move. You sold dem flats and then tell media that you own the bldg?

@prasadvedpathak Your ego may have won a battle, but Jain humility won the respect of everyone watching. This was never about a white patti. It was about ego vs values. The area is restored, and matter is resolved. We chose patience over provocation, dignity over drama, and unity over conflict

@TeestaSetalvad @rajuparulekar Jain is a religion, while Maharashtrian/Marathi is a language and cultural identity...framing Jains as “new hegemons” over Maharashtrians is inaccurate.many Jains are Maharashtrians by language, and many Maharashtrians respect Jain traditions

Frankly, I am a Marathi Mulgi & I find the entire controversy needless It wasn’t some exclusive pathway that only Jains can use or was troubling anyone It was white so as to absorb less heat & give less chatke to monks who walk barefoot On white, you can see more clearly which creatures may be crawling & avoid them Less moss also grows on white (White surfaces reflect more sunlight and heat, which dries them out faster. Moss requires a consistently damp or humid environment to survive and reproduce) The mgmt committee had approved it It wasn’t such a big deal that entire society’s permission should be asked Btw, won’t these red & yellow colours only on certain tiles look funny while the others look old & worn out ? You are against idol worship & get angry when someone gifts you a murti, but you talk about animal sacrifices during gondhal ? So are you for or against Hindu traditions? Idol worship is wrong but animal sacrifice is ok ? I haven’t ever seen any Hindu do it in urban settings Now what will you do if they object to Ganeshutsav? Jains are part of Sanatan Dharma You have filmed videos celebrating Eid & mocking Jai Sri Ram For you, everything is content & this controversy, a golden opportunity

For some fame, this cockroach created an unnecessary issue. This guy doesn't represent us Hindus. He tried to intimidate an elderly couple during interview. After getting exposed for the 'permission', he threatened to protest alone, means no one else had issue. Total clout game

This guy @prasadvedpathak has manufactured a controversy out of thin air. He's portraying a thin white strip, reportedly laid to help barefoot monks avoid scorching surfaces in summer and slippery moss during monsoons, as if common areas are being converted into religious spaces. The reality is that it's not even used only by monks. Elderly residents benefit from it too. What's even more convenient to ignore is that official permission from the housing society had already been obtained before the strip was laid. The building has 33 flats, of which only 4 or 5 belong to Jain families. The stripe was applied only after following the prescribed process and obtaining approval. The family involved also made their position crystal clear. They stated that if this small arrangement hurt anyone's sentiments, they would never do it again. It's difficult to find a more reasonable and conciliatory response than that. Yet even after these facts became public, this moron continued with the same aggressive rhetoric, using phrases like "cut it out now" and "I won't tolerate this." At that point, it stops looking like a fight for principles and starts looking like a performance for attention. I highly doubt he'd show the same enthusiasm when it comes to illegally occupied 20 foot Ganesh pandals blocking 30 foot roads every year. Speaking up there would get his ass thrashed. Bro seems perfectly fine with incidents of assault during Holi and animal being slaughtered inside society compounds, but a harmless WHITE STRIPE is apparently where he draws the line. No pun intended. Going by his media appearances and tweets, the fact remains that both his YouTube channels have been inactive for over a year. The Jain community is an easy target because it is unlikely to respond with threats, violence, or retaliation. Bro has 2 YouTube channels both stagnant for more than a year.
Jainism_jewells@jainismjewells

●The jain couple who made the white stripes with the intention of serving jain sadhu is clearly stating(in the video) that society commeettee had given him permission , which is an formal way a member opts for before doing something in society and not visit each and every flat. ●He is saying even after taking permission if someone feels its supremacy than they,ll remove it. They don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. The issue should have been ended there itself. ●Its quite visible now that the couple who is raising this issue is merely doing this for publicity and fame. They are trying to spread an flase narrative through which they divide jains and Marathi which is impossible. ●I was born and raised in Mumbai, in the heart of Dadar–Shivaji Park. Never in my life have I experienced any such conflict with my Marathi friends, neighbours, or colleagues. In fact, the bond we share is one of the strongest and most genuine relationships I have known. ●Do not let a few loud voices convince you that there is a conflict where none exists. The real story is not one of supremacy or division. The real story is one of friendship, respect, and harmony between two communities that have lived side by side for generations. ●Mumbai taught us to respect differences. Maharashtra taught us to live together. Let us not allow anyone to destroy that spirit for their own agenda. Jai maharashtra 🙏🇮🇳

Todar Mal Jain, a local businessman from Sirhind, and an ardent follower of the Sikh Gurus, who became the diwan in the court of Nawab Wazir Khan, the Governor of Sirhind, under Mughal Empire. Today, he is most remembered for defying the Mughals by arranging for the cremation of young martyred sons of Guru Gobind Singh and his mother. He bought and donated the most expensive piece of land on earth. Please don't try to wipe out the jain from Todarmal's name. Today, there are many who have associated many other surnames with Todarmal ji, but you can hear facts for yourself from the video posted below by the Sikh community itself at the Global Interfaith Summit 2024. #gurunanakjayanti2024 #GuruNanakDev #gurupurab
