@jeff_gluck At what point did super speedways become “fuel saving 500s”? I know they have a limited amounts of tires but is there limited amounts of fuel too? Been following racing for a long time.

@jeff_gluck No problem with him at all. Thought it was a bit odd a second place guy was on the roof of his car but then again it’s Cleetus so… you have a long time racer (part time pizza delivery guy) winning and Cleetus second…a PR dream scenario.

I'm genuinely asking because I don't understand: What's the deal with the Cleetus hate? He's running ARCA (exactly where he should be to get experience), he has a ton of real enthusiasm for NASCAR and he's bringing a huge audience to your favorite sport. And all some of you do is take shots at him? Why? I honestly don't get it. Please explain?

@bobpockrass @NASCARONFOX @AndyJRacing i’m very familiar with all Cleetus is doing to appeal to newer race fans with the track he has, props to him. It just seemed more people cared about him finishing second than a guy who’s grown up with racing and delivered pizzas to make money to race.

Trucks and O’Reilly don’t have to “save fuel” like the Cup cars because of the design. This style of cup car is garbage. Always have always will be. Takes tire wear and actual driving talent out.
