Yeah, okay buddy. You hired someone who stole tens of millions worth of information, lied about communications y’all had after you deleted them and now is getting paid double to work on your truck program? GTFO. What was it you called Richard again? Was it you who was leaking information after RTA calls?

From the Gluckcast today, Spire Motorsports owner Jeff Dickerson had some strong comments in defense of his team in the JGR/Gabehart lawsuit.

@TrueSouthernUSA @ham11in @NASCAR Thing is, NASCAR makes most of their money off their TV deals. As a result, the broadcast networks have a lot of say in what the start times are. And they want start times that allow races to end in primetime.

For starters, no race, that is supposed to be a SunDAY race, should be starting at 3:30! With these late start times, you have a few red flag conditions or any type of rain delay, and the race will have to be called because of darkness. No portion of Talladega speedway or any other track, should be in the shadows because of the sun going down!! #earlierstarttimes #nascar

I’m still processing how Spire’s attorneys are going to try and deal with Jeff Dickerson’s Gluckcast interview. I am having difficulty trying to explain in a reasonable amount of characters how challenging it is going to be to deal with this interview. But needless to say, the interview is going to be an exhibit in depositions. JGR’s response from Heather Gibbs below. I do not believe that the JGR legal team needs any Tums today. But they might be having bourbon and wow, we just got a lot to work with way.
Jeff Gluck@jeff_gluck

Heather Gibbs has issued a statement to The Athletic after Jeff Dickerson's comments today. Here is her statement in full: Joe Gibbs Racing was founded on the guiding principle of valuing people above all else within our organization, and the entire NASCAR community.  We’re not here to diminish anyone.  Drivers like Carson Hocevar are exactly what NASCAR needs. I couldn’t be more of an advocate for young drivers coming into the series.   In terms of the lawsuit, our singular purpose is to protect our trade secrets- the most important information that our race team (and any race team for that matter) possesses, particularly in this era of Next Gen cars.  These trade secrets have been created through the hard work and innovation of JGR’s talented employees over the past 35 years as we built our race team from the ground up.    Those same trade secrets were admittedly stolen by a former employee in a manner meant to avoid detection.  Within days of the acknowledged theft, Spire offered that former employee a job and subsequently hired him.  This lawsuit isn’t personal; we have a responsibility to stand up for our employees, for our partners, and for the integrity of the garage.   We believe accountability matters. That is why we are here. Not to tear anyone down, but to stand up for what is right and protect the foundation this sport is built on, so that every team, every driver, and every fan can trust in the fairness of the competition.

@TheMikeBagley @SiriusXMNASCAR Race start times! If it's a day race, the start time should be no later than 1:15 CST. The recent Talladega race started at 2:15. Too late for people to get home in a good time. Standard start times for Day races! 1:00 CST! #starttimes

@GMatherne84 That response came from the party fans. They either voted yes for the party life at Dega or because they were too drunk to know what was happening on the track. #terribledega

On Hauler Talk, @mforde says NASCAR is continuing discussions to look at changes to the superspeedway package and the working group will include @dennyhamlin. Forde says Denny texted Steve O’Donnell after Talladega with suggestions about the spoiler (same thing he said on Actions Detrimental) and O’Donnell relayed that feedback to John Probst. When Forde went to talk to Probst before recording Hauler Talk, Probst already had possible superspeedway changes up on his computer screen.

I'm not much into boycotting, but in this extreme case, itay be the only thing that forces @NASCAR to fix superspeedway racing. It's awful, it's terrible, it's not entertaining and this past Dega event was the deal breaker on being patient and nice. For the 75% that go for the party, just show up and party in the fields around the track. Let's empty those seats at the next event and turn the TV off! #boycottDega

.@FoxTV got a 2.11 rating and 3.967 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Jack Link's 500 @Talladega, down slightly from a 2.18 and 4.041 million last year. ➡️ The event peaked at 4.9 million viewers from 6:45-7:00pm ET during the end of the race.

@KWallaceShow @Kenny_Wallace I've got one for it now, especially after this last race. "Environmental500" teams do their part to save the planet by saving ⛽ Or a commercial for it, "come to Talladega, where even your Grandmother can lead the pack! "

@jeff_gluck @NASCAR @CarsonHocevar 75% attend for the party. Another 15% attend because it's their first time and really, don't know what good racing used to be at Dega and the other 10% that are not drunk off their a**, attend to hopefully see Nascar fix this BS!

You know nothing about Nascar or Talladega or Talladega history. There is no such thing has half throttle at Dega! I've seen races at that track where a car drafted by the leading car on just about every lap. I've seen the whole field qualify at over 200 mph. Saving fuel my a**. This past Sunday was a disaster!

@TrueSouthernUSA @jeff_gluck @NASCAR @CarsonHocevar Bro.. I'm not sure you understand true NASCAR racing. Every race is a progression of pace and ability throughout a marathon. If you want sprint racing, go watch sprint cars. Nascar has it all.. distance, strategy, conservation & stamina followed by all out beating and banging 🤟

@balkwhisperer Baseball has been around since the earliest of times; Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and many others and the game was the game without instant reply or that stupid square strike zone box. Let's just get back to real baseball. Only equipment needed; ball, glove and bat. #realbaseball

@JettMDK If cars are wide open, no, they can't pass. If a huge percentage is 65% throttle, then yes, they can fly through the field. If they can pass, why didn't Chase Elliott at least try in the last 20 laps? I'll wait...

It hard to be hard from your perspective @TheMikeBagley to even remotely make Dega seem exciting on the radio. I'm really disappointed in some notable Nascar past drivers, crew chiefs and media personalities that are not coming down hard on @NASCAR for such a pitiful show at Dega! If Chad Finchum is leading and pulling away from Denny, you know it's a broken system! @markmartin @Kenny_Wallace @DaleJr Outside the Hocevar victory🏁 Dega was a complete laugh. #terribledega

@SteveLetarte Letarte, I just lost any amount of respect for you when you told Steve O'Donnell, "great race" referring to Talladega! That race was 💯 terrible, a joke, a disaster. Tell Nascar the real deal or give someone else your platform! #terribledega
