Mshatulia sindio; 1. #HarambeeStars is our national pride. Whether the coach is going to call Joakins Atudo or Githeri Man to the team, as a fan, with the questions that might linger, your duty is to support that team. 2. Zech Obiero ought to have been with this team earlier. He has always been a class above his peers. 3. The entire team had a slow start, Odada was worse in the first half. Dude had an improved second half but decided to be a clown when it mattered. 4. I hope Job Ochieng's injury wasn't something worse. We need him fit for the coming assignments. 5. Lenkunpae might be unattached, but his efforts when we didn't have the ball were on point. No one would question his commitment. 6. Ronney Onyango isnt a right back. That's one hill Ill die on. 7. Despite his lack of action at club level, Manzur Okwaro is a special talent. My prayer is that his loan deal can be turned into a permanent one. Were it not for my injury, he is a player I would have enjoyed playing with. 8. With the options we had for this game, Chris Alpha should have started that game. 9. I cant wait to have Zak Vyner in that defence. He will be a proper addition to this team. 10. AFC Leopards is playing a league game tomorrow. @pepeta_ke #FootballKE

They say you raise the bar with your guests& this year I started from the very top. Five years old, standing on my shoulders, doing what he does best. Together we made a Kenyan classic. Ugali, Nyama choma and Kachumbari. One day he’ll stand on his own but today, we stood side by side, growing my greatest legacy and my best friend. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This is not just a death. This is a failure loud, ugly, and impossible to ignore. Madam Caroline, the Principal of Kakamega County Polytechnic, did not “take her own life” as some rushed to claim. That narrative now looks like what it always was a convenient lie, a cover, a distraction. She was abducted. She was taken. And she was later found dead in Kisumu. Let that sink in. A whole principal a public servant, a leader, a mother, a human being can be picked, disappeared, and dumped like nothing in this country. Then we are fed soft stories to swallow so that nobody asks hard questions. This is where the @DCI_Kenya must stop being spectators. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has a duty that goes beyond press statements and silence. This is organized, deliberate, and evil. It means there are people out here who believe they can kidnap, torture, and kill and walk away untouched. That belief must be crushed. We want answers: Who took her? Where was she held? Who is protecting the killers? Why was the public misled? Because right now, it feels like truth in this country is buried faster than the victims. This is not just about Madam Caroline. It is about every Kenyan who can be picked today and become a headline tomorrow. If the DCI does not rise to this moment with urgency, transparency, and real arrests then they are telling Kenyans one thing: Your life is cheap. And that is unacceptable.

What is the worst that can happen if a player reaches out to the coach and honestly admits that he is not at his best, and is willing to step back for a while to work on his form? I struggle to understand why a player would be comfortable taking up a slot—at the expense of a deserving colleague—and purport to serve the nation while knowing well that he is not fully fit or lacks proper match fitness. Like, why are you just happy to be there?

Edwin Sifuna’s arrogance is on another level. Insulting Dr. Oburu is essentially an insult to every ODM member, as well as to Raila Odinga. This is something Sifuna knows he would not have dared to do while Raila was alive. Sifuna cannot continue hiding behind Raila Odinga’s name to insult the Luo people and their leaders. He has been hired by the anti-William Samoei Ruto oligarchs to undermine the President’s support system. Having failed to defeat the President on development issues, they have resorted to portraying him as a dictator—yet Ruto is the only president Kenya has ever had with absolutely no dictatorial tendencies. The Sifuna axis consists of great talkers, who are therefore great liars—people who can repeatedly call Jesus a drunkard until people begin to believe them.

Benny McCarthy has to resist the temptation of assigning penalties to defenders. We’ve seen this before during CHAN, and it didn’t deliver. In decisive moments, you trust your finishers. #SportsRadar #FootballKE

Emotional intelligence is the ultimate test of a man's character. When should I speak? Is it worth it? Is it sensible? Politicians, especially the newer, younger crop, lack emotional intelligence. They speak fwaaaaa, as long as there is a microphone and a camera rolling.

An exceptional promotion for our national symbols! On the cover of the latest issue of GQ, superstar Jay-Z is honoring Congolese roots. He features a Songye mask, known as Kifwebe (from the Kasaï region), against a background of Kuba cloth. The term Kifwebe, which means "The Face," refers simultaneously to the mask, the secret society that holds it, and the dance itself. The Songye people live in the Lomami River region, in the current provinces of Kasaï-Oriental and Lomami. Although they share roots with the Luba, the Songye have developed a very distinct artistic identity, characterized by rigorous geometric forms. The fact that Jay-Z is posing with this mask against a backdrop of Kuba cloth creates a cultural "super-connection," as the Kuba and the Songye are two of the most prestigious artistic cultures of the DRC. #DRCMaskSongye #DRCCulture

Jay z shot his older brother when he was just 12 years old. The shooting happened in 1982 when Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) was 12. His older brother Eric (about 16 at the time) had stolen Jay z’s jewelry to support a drug habit. In the heated argument, young Jay z grabbed a gun and shot his brother in the shoulder. The brother survived, forgave him, and didn’t press charges. Jay z has described feeling terrified afterward and has referenced the incident directly in lyrics, especially on the song “You Must Love Me” where he raps about closing his eyes and squeezing the trigger
